I liked how this story focused on Kate and Alex's relationship and some of the realities of living a gay lifestyle rather than focusing purely on the sexual. I love how you expressed that Alex was Kate's "one" at the conclusion. Wonderful! I look forward to reading more of your stories!

You seem to have a natural way of capturing the true essence of a relationship. I agree the descriptive sex was great, but I love your ability to draw the reader into your story. I think you could make the instructions on a model airplane seem exciting.

I would love to see you put your talents towards a love story in the supernatural venue, maybe something with Weres or Vamps would be fun. There is so much ordinary stuff and you have the ability to take a real stroll outside the box. (Sorry, my request is indulgent, but it's one of my own guilty pleasures)

Started reading the first story because I had 10 minutes to kill - had to read them all and made myself late! I love the story and I love the way your writing is descriptive and full of feeling with no pretensions. Loved the sex but paled into insignificance next to the relationship - was dying for them to work it out, guess I'm a sucker for a happy ending!

There is always the chance that a series like this ends without a working reconciliation. I hate those. They happen too often in real life, in my opinion. I love the stories (and real lives) where they find a way to make it work. I know, I know, sometimes break-ups are for the better. I'm just hopelessly romantic. Thanks for helping them work it out for the better. I love this series.

Taking all three chapters together, one great story. But Chapter 3 really kicked the hell out of the emotions. It had the lot: love, heartache, spite (the vicious stepmother), and enough drama to choke a horse. I'm a straight man in my seventies and you almost had me in tears towards the end. Brilliant stuff, Cat---keep up the good work.

Wow a punch in gut when things grew so dark and tragic but it was so captivating I loved this story. A good story is one you can feel in your pulse or core so this one was wonderful.

In a word…exceptional.

What a Wonderful series of stories. Which pulled at my heartstrings. Deserves much more than 5*s.

It was a pleasure to find an old series of this quality that I hadn't read before.

I can't believe this little series is 13 years old now & I've only just discovered it. What a little gem and it's so close to real life, I love it & feel like I experienced so many emotions reading through the story.
