They felt themselves falling asleep beside each other, with nothing to hide any longer. Their adverse situation had turned out to be quite serendipitous, and, despite originally having dreaded sharing a room, they were glad that their conference overran and that all the other hotels and rooms were booked up, else they may have never investigated the possibility of one another. Who knows, rather than going home in the morning, perhaps they'd stay over another night, spend the day in their hotel room and explore each other some more, explore their feelings, and see where it led them.
