I honestly don't get why people left such high marks. And given that you wrote some awesome stories, this one just doesn't live up to expectations. The constant repetition of spoken language, the excessive use of exclamation points, they really take away from the quality of your writing.

After the party is a well-conceived story, although its brevity is somewhat disappointing. The reader should check out the author's later stories, especially Fun at Work; the quality of the writing has only gotten better with time. Five stars.
