Anna gave a bitter laugh as Worth sat back, looking stunned. She had no choice. It was the pheromones. Anyone would have responded the same way, he told himself.

Anna smiled as she patted her hair self-consciously and looked very pleased with herself. "Well, at least now I know what you see in her. She's an easy lay. She must be fucking every member of your little resistance group, and then some," said Anna.

Her words hurt him, as Anna had intended.

And then her tone hardened. "Now compare me, your long suffering wife, with your little chippie whore. While you've been banging this slut, I've been your chaste and faithful wife, who hadn't so much as looked at another man in two years. Do I really deserve this, Worth? Are you no longer capable of feeling any guilt? Or have you cheated on me so often that it just comes naturally to you?"

Anna paused, and pursed her lips. "Even now, I still haven't given up on you," She said. "I still want us to be together. We can still have children. We can still have a life together. But I realize the impediment now. We need to deal with your little chippie first. Once we get her out of the picture, you'll come to me, willingly. You'll see."

"We almost caught your chippie, Captain Rogers. Tom told me what a good lay she was. Well lubricated and tight, he said, just like me.
