All Comments on 'American Waitress'

i was surprised that i enjoyed the story and i give it 5 stars. Normally i am not in to these types of stories but this one was well written and i enjoyed it. The gambling part of the story reminded me that I was an emotional gambler and thus, should never gamble. I learned that lesson while gambling at my dining room table with my brothers and friends and I was gambling with my paper route bill money collected from my customers. I quickly realized before losing all of it that i needed to get out the the game and to never gamble any more. I have lived to that code for sixty years plus now. Gambling is a sickness that can take over your live easily. Great story!!!!!

Sad story. I felt so bad for her. No hope. That's a hard place to be in.
