I liked the two main character arcs more then the dystopian plot . But it was all well done for that genre. Supporting characters need polish in terms of polishing the rough diamond. In terms of completeness, I would have enjoyed face off confrontation where mother and son actually verbally acknowledge the shift in their relationship . But the silent assent in tandem with stealthily reaching out for physical love by Anne was authentic as well.
