Well-written short story - didn't need the comment about the asterisks.

When the hell was this story written, 30 years ago, I just had Lasix surgery a month ago and only had to keep patches on my eyes for about 3 hours after and then drops in your eyes about every 4 hours.

Don't forget that it's only fictional. I liked it. Looking for more.

Give it a sequel. Don't care about those idgets who miss the point. A bit longer would be nice though.
