I'm not going to rate this story because I can't settle on what the rating would be. I know it is a 750 word story, but it needs to be much longer. I think it is an outstanding start to a great story. Maybe you could write the entire story from the start, without the word limit. It was very interesting.

This supernatural nonsense is hardly worth reading. Sure, old people who live a long time with their partners are hoping to reconnect in the next world and anyone who believes that crap deserves more stories like this one. I feel for the people who read this and think it makes sense. 2*
