Click hereLouise moved towards her, arm outstretched and Fiona and Alex turned to each other and hugged.
"It's OK," I said, to Lola I guess, who was still hanging on to me pretty tight, but probably to all of them really. "It's OK. You're not alone."
*Is that where it came from?
What?
*You're not alone.
You mean the motto?
*Yeah.
I guess so. Lou still talks about it all the time, that moment. She told me again the other night, when I was over there for dinner, that... just hearing that had meant so much to them. I guess I hadn't really thought about it before I said it, I just... I don't know, it just felt right.
*You say that a lot, you know.
What?
*I didn't think, I just did what felt right.
Really?
*Yeah, I think so.
Amazing I made it this far then, isn't it?
*Ha! Yes, totally fucking amazing.
So I guess we're done then?
*If that's OK? Caz said she could see me tonight.
Oh?
*Yeah, I think...
Oh sweetheart, that's wonderful news...
*Thanks Dad... I... well... let's not get too excited just yet, OK?
Enjoying the story but like someone else commented, I tend to skip the interview dialog at the beginning and end of each chapter. Looking forward to the rest though.
I enjoy the stream of consciousness style you are using. It takes a little getting used to, but it serves a purpose.
One thing though - women is plural, woman is singular.
Getting better and better. This style really works for the chapter-y release here on Lit.
