BTW, Jetcrash is correct that HSV are spread by direct contact only, which makes transmission to a child unlikely. However, unlikely is not the same as impossible. If the child had an open cut and mom had not washed thoroughly after a bathroom break and was touching the child's cut, such as during bandaging, transmission could occur...still VERY unlikely, but the possibility remains, so the story stands.

I heard of a case of an STI been passed from a parent to a child on a towel, so yeah, it's possible. A sad, 5* story.

A quick Google search gives you the answer. You can get it from kissing, skin to skin contact. Low chances without symptoms extremely high if there are cold sores. So no sex needed for transmission, unless you consider a mother touching or kissing her son sex. Being as young as the kid was the mother probably helps him while taking a bath or shower.

Not a great story. I was first put off by husband referring to call content from his wife's phone. I'm not particularly cell phone savvy but I know call contents aren't recorded on cell phones unless specifically set up to do so. Husband should have been referring to text messages. Also, there are so many other ways of staying in contact with shithead other than using her personal cell phone. Monitoring her cell phone would prove nothing.

A Google search tells me that HSV1 is much more contagious than HSV2. HSV2 is primarily transmitted through sexual contact.

As others have stated, several STD’s ( or ski’s )really need sex or volume of blood to really be transmitted. But others are readily transmitted through more casual contact and even the first batch gets through on occasion. I see comments about a condo for STD’s but the same people engaging in oral sex. First what is STI? In the US it is an STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) Second Herpes Simplex II can only be transmitted through direct sexual contact....i.e.; penis in vagina or penis in butt and I highly doubt that a six year old can achieve an erection to complete this task. Your story should have been under fantasy! You do get a *2* for effort. Just so you know Herpes Simplex I is also known as a cold sore on the lips of your mouth. Herpes Simplex II is on the penis or vagina or ass hole.

I understand the way it was written, with the son getting Herpes, is a far reach, but I believe the author is trying to make the reader see and feel the immorality of her actions. Getting Herpes from giving a blow job and then kissing another is one way transmission can be effected, the 'Blower' being the vector. The fact that Herpes is easily transmitted is why one should never kiss while any 'fever blisters' are active, at all. The way she tried to remain innocent and say he cheated would be a marriage ender anyways.
