All Comments on 'Ashley Ch. 09'

I binged all nine chapters this morning. Some observations:

1) BlueCollarGirl clearly understand sexual shame. Having been raised in a religious, sexually repressed home there are moments in the stories that I feel I've been in Ashley's mind. I think mind control fantasies may really be about balancing sexual repression on one hand with sexual desire on the other. The author does it really well.

2) The goo is a metaphor for Ashley's sexual desire, right? The goo at the beginning is repulsive to her; but it has a desirable smell and makes her feel good. Also in the first two chapters Ashley seems juvenile-- mothered closely by her mom and lots of references to her grandmother and her faith and community. In chapter 8 there is a moment when Ashley feels, "a piece of her break away"... it's a bit jarring because I'm not sure whether to cheer for this or cry for it.

3) I'm a bit confused by poor old chester the cat. I'm interested, of course, and the author is doing something there. It seems the goo and chester are tied together somehow, and at first I thought maybe the mysterious stranger-- the one who controls the goo was Chester... that would be an Alice in Wonderland twist if Ashley has really been wanting to fuck Chester the whole time and I think I'd laugh out loud if it happened. BlueCollarGirl, if that's where you're going please don't make me horny for poor old chester-- I like thinking I'm too sexually repressed to be turned on by a bestiality twist ;).

Anyway--- I'm anxiously awaiting a conclusion to Ashley's story-- it's been exciting getting to know her!

And it sounds like your upbringing sounds similar to mine. It is definitely why I am so drawn to both mind control and BDSM. It's not *my* fault I liked it then, so it must be okay.
