I admire the intent, but the plot feels too rushed. Siobhan leaps from spontaneous guilty crush to full-throated lover in the space of one evening, and Grace reciprocates without even a hint of surprise—it's alright for fire-and-forget smut, but given her daughter's anxiety about acceptance, I would have liked to see the emotional core fleshed out stronger.
