Do not like this response as much as her letter. Leaving aside his admission that he loved her in a way different/more romantically than his wife, which i found selfish/ self-serving, including the diminishing of others. Yes, tearing off the bandage, you might say, is cathartic for him, but what of her. Suspect it does nothing but deepen regret, etc. Of course, it is your storyline. I do not like it as well because it wasn’t as well written, which may be a bit of a surprise as the same author wrote both pieces (letters). Hope you continue to share your talent.
