All Comments on 'Barn and Beyond Ch. 05'

Beautifully done chapter and a wonderful release of the pain and sadness that started this story. Not all of it quite yet, what with the nightmares and the lingering threat of Liam still being around. But I could definitely feel the lessening of tension as soon as I read about Rusty coming into Sky's room with his ball. It never ceases to amaze me how animals, particularly dogs, seem to know just what to do when people are in need of comfort. You brought that feeling to life perfectly through your words. It's also fairly clear now, although not yet spoken about, that Gabriel has something more long term in mind than just helping someone in need at the time. And the more I read this chapter, the more it seemed that this is exactly who Sky needs to end up with, being Yin to Gabriels's Yang.

I had named Rusty, Gabriel when I started but then as the story progressed I realised saviour has to be body and soul, so Rusty saves Sky physically and Gabriel mends his heart
