"I'm glad to hear peace has returned to Bastileborn," Queen Sayda said as she smiled at Sidian. "But I need to discuss war costs with Ragos before he leaves. He owes me for the damage he caused to our forest," she sighed as she went to the opening of the tent and waved for the red dragon to follow her.

"Great... get some rest, Sidian. I'll be back in an hour or so," Ragos sighed before he left the tent with Sayda.

Ragos was nervous as he followed the beautiful dark elf queen to her personal tent. His eyes widened in wonder as she led him into her luxurious sleeping quarters. There were red and blue glowing stones hanging from the ceiling over a large, fur-covered bed in the center of the room. The air smelled of mist flowers and jasmine. Sayda tied the tent flap closed behind them before she sauntered over to the bed and reclined on it. Ragos gulped as he admired her beautiful body. Her curves were smooth and inviting under her short leather skirt and tight leather top. Her bodice left little to the imagination as it squeezed her breasts into perfect balls. Her long dark hair, big dark eyes, and luscious red lips made her exceptionally easy to stare at. Ragos's body responded in a predictable way as he admired her.

"You may speak, Ragos. I'm waiting for a formal apology," she prompted.

"Of course, your majesty, please forgive me for the damage I caused to your kingdom. My efforts to help often go up in flames in the worst possible ways. I lay myself at your mercy. How may I serve you to make amends for my blunder?" he asked as he bowed low to the dark elf queen.

She chuckled at him in her low rich voice, pulling his copper eyes to her smiling face.

"There is so much more to your spirit than meets the eye. My ancient gems reveal you to me," she said as she motioned to the glowing stones hanging above them. "Your heart is kind in spite of your short temper and impulsive nature. You're an exemplar warrior, but your dreams of glory were overshadowed by your adopted brother's birthright. You were driven to serve him in spite of your own desires. It's truly fascinating. Ragos, what do you see when you look at Sidian?" she asked.

"A king. I've always seen him that way. From the moment he broke out of that little black egg and fell on his face at my feet. I wasn't watching him hatch like I was supposed to. I honestly don't deserve to be called his brother," he whispered with a hitch in his voice.

"That's not true, Ragos. I see great honor in both of your hearts. Our ancestors were dragons. We are very familiar with your magic. Red dragon fire is the most raw and blendable fire I have ever felt. It rarely dominates because it's so volatile. It bends to the will of more stable and honorable fire, like Sidian's fire. The blue fire of the black dragon is the most regal fire in the realm. One black dragon parent will always produce black dragon offspring. Did you know that Sidian's mother and grandmother were red dragons?"

Ragos looked at the beautiful queen in surprise.

"I didn't know. How do you know?"

"I read it in his magic the same way I read the magic in these ancient stones over our heads. The fire burns differently in my mind, allowing me to decipher the powers and origins, and I see something in you that I want," she said with a wicked smile.

Ragos gulped and his heart rate quickened under her demanding gaze.

"Um, I'm at your service, Queen Sayda. What can I give you?"

"I've heard dragons have remarkable stamina, and I would love to experience it," she said as she stood on her knees on the bed and pulled her tight leather skirt up off her perfect thighs, revealing her bare crotch. The dark hair on her mound was trimmed into a shapely triangle that pointed towards her most sensitive skin. "I would like for you to fuck me until I beg for you to stop. Can you manage that in your drunken state?" she asked as she untied the stays of her leather bodice, allowing her perfect breasts freedom from the tight material.

Ragos's body ached with want at the sight of her alluring flesh.

"I can manage some things better when I'm drunk," he confessed as he quickly freed himself from his pants and kicked them across the room.

Sayda smiled at the sight of his thick erection as he climbed onto the bed and pushed her backward onto the pillows. He didn't waste any time as he parted her knees and guided his cock against her wet cunt. He thrust into her tight heat with a groan before he caught her delicious red mouth for a kiss. Sayda gasped against his kiss as he began to fuck her swollen cunt. The aggressive power of an aroused dragon was something she had always wanted to experience, and Ragos surpassed her expectations. She groaned and trembled under him as his cock plowed through her inner muscles. The hot friction was unlike anything she had ever felt. She suddenly understood what the sea felt like under a storm as they pushed and pulled against each other. She was gasping with orgasm in less than a minute.

Ragos chuckled when he felt the dark elf queen squirming under him. He wrapped his arms around her and held her luscious body tight against his hard frame as he pumped his cock into her trembling cunt, sharpening her orgasm. She cried out in ecstasy as he worked another wave of pleasure into her. She didn't even know that kind of sharp sensation was possible. She dug her fingernails into his arms as she gasped and whimpered like she was in a desperate fight. The intense pangs of pleasure stole her breath again and again. Ragos worried guards would barge in at some point, thinking she was under attack. He figured he might get shot in the back with an arrow, but it was worth it as a powerful orgasm tensed his groin. He let out a carnal groan as his cock flexed against her wonderful heat and spilled his cum inside her.

The orgasm slowed him down a little, allowing the queen to catch her breath, but he started fucking her vigorously again a few seconds later. She cried out as hot pleasure worked through her cunt and groin. The combined wetness of their orgasms added to the overwhelming heat inside her. The extra wet friction doubled the tingling from her first orgasm and soon had her squirming again. She tensed and cried out as Ragos massaged her through it. She was beginning to doubt her own endurance as she rode his powerful cock. Ragos groaned and came again when he felt her cunt squeezing him. The second orgasm slowed him down a little more. The pleasure became sharper for him the longer he fucked, and it could be unpleasant if he didn't ease off.

Sayda chuckled when she felt the subtle change in his lovemaking. She was still tingling all over as she came down from her second orgasm. She could feel Ragos's cum dripping out of her in hot streams as he continued to pump into her trembling cunt. She had recovered her breath enough by that point to kiss him again. His mouth and skin tasted sweet and heady. It was almost intoxicating. She ran her fingers into his damp hair and pulled his mouth harder against hers. He groaned when she nibbled his tongue with her fangs.

"Mmm, you are totally welcome to use those on my neck," he whispered against her lips.

"That's an odd request. Are dragons masochists?" she panted as she dug her fingernails into his arms, making him groan.

"This dragon is," he breathed.

"Pain and pleasure excites your fire. All dragons are masochists," she chuckled.

"I also love visible souvenirs."

"So do I," she purred before she raised up and sank her teeth into his shoulder.

Ragos groaned and shuddered as the pain caused his fire to pulse hotter inside his body, pushing him to orgasm again. Sayda chuckled when she felt more wet heat spilling inside her as his thick cock jumped with pleasure. She released his neck when he began fucking her again.

"That's fascinating," she purred as he pumped his cock deeper, moving her body with his powerful thrusts. "How long can you do this?" she panted. She was already close to orgasm again.

"Eight hours."

"Holy fuck," she gasped as orgasm crashed through her body. She whimpered and trembled as she curled her toes against the fur blanket.

Ragos chuckled as he worked her through it. He was impressed by her stamina. She was panting and sweating when she was finally able to relax again.

"Am I exhausting you, your majesty?" he whispered against her ear.

"I'm not begging for mercy yet," she panted before she raised up and bit his shoulder again.

"Oh fuck," he gasped as more hot fire pulsed inside him.

He made a carnal groan in his chest before he redoubled his powerful fucking. They provoked each other for another hour, teasing with pain and fire. The beautiful queen was drenched in sweat and dripping with Ragos's cum when she decided she couldn't take the ecstasy anymore. Ragos's shoulders were a mess as she begged him to stop. They came together one last time before Ragos let his fire settle.

"Mmm, that was wonderful, your majesty. Thank you. I love women with fangs," he sighed as he relaxed next to her to cool down.

"Thank you too, Ragos. You're welcome to my fangs and cunt from here on out. Does pain arouse you all the time?" she asked as she rolled onto her side and wrapped her arm around his sculpted chest.

"No. Sexual arousal has to happen first. Otherwise, the pain just pisses me off."

"Ah, that makes sense," she chuckled.

"So, am I forgiven for the fire damage?"

"You are. You have paid me abundantly," she said with a smirk.

"Oh, good. I'll happily pay you more if I survive my trip home," he sighed.

"I hope you will. I shall be praying for your safe return."

After a nap and a wash, Ragos was sober enough for his flight home with Sidian and Lacia. The dragons bid their friends a fond farewell before they flew into the night sky and turned north. Ragos was glad they were flying over the city of Sheth at night. He didn't want Sidian to see the damage he caused with the fire, but it was little consolation when he considered what they were about to face.

Bragging Rights

Sidian held Lacia tight to his chest as they flew into the colder regions of the mountains. He wasn't sure if she could even feel cold in her current state, but it broke his heart to think she could. Snow was whipping around them as they landed on the mountain pass that led to the Living Mountain's main entrance. Sidian looked up at the towering gate that was protected by a hundred Brass Dragon Guards. Fifty guards stood on each side of the long passageway that led into the mountain. No enemy of the dragon king had ever breached the gate, and Sidian feared that record would hold. As he and Ragos stepped forward, they were immediately confronted by the closest brass guards.

"Halt, Sidian Obsidian, and Ragos Rubellite," demanded the first guard on the left, followed by many spears pointing in their direction. "You were both banished by the dragon king. What is your business at the gate of the Living Mountain?" he demanded.

"We... have come to bring the dragon princess home," Sidian announced. "This is Lacia Alphonse Opal, King Faddon's daughter. She is not banished."

"Then we shall take her to the king," said the guard as he reached for Lacia, but Sidian burst into flames and growled viciously, causing the guards to step back in caution.

"Bad idea!" Ragos said as he jumped between them. "If you take Lacia from him, he will go mad and kill all of you, so be a good guard and let us through."

"Stand down, you cogs!" called a familiar voice from the depths of the entrance.

The brass guards quickly stepped aside, allowing Sidian and Ragos to see their father as he approached. Zorin was dressed in a long red cloak and carrying the red elder staff. Sidian closed his eyes and breathed a sigh of relief. Tears came pouring from his eyes as the old dragon stopped in front of them and looked between his sons.

"The mountain told me something powerful was coming. I never thought I would live to see both of my sons home again," he said as he quickly gathered them into his arms and hugged them.

Ragos burst into tears as he hugged his father back.

"I'm sorry, father. I never meant to shame you as much as I have," he blubbered.

"It's all right, son. I'm happy you lived your life the way you wanted to. Over the years, I came to realize how important that is. I'm glad I didn't force you to serve our current king. Who is this you brought with you?" he asked as he drew away from his boys and looked at Lacia's angelic face.

"This is Lacia, your future daughter-in-law, and the mother of your grandchild," Sidian choked as he struggled to speak through his grief.

"That gold rose put her in a timeless sleep," Ragos continued for him. "She is Faddon's daughter. We think he did this to her to force us to bring her here."

"By the gods... she's so beautiful, and she's with child now?" Zorin asked with tears in his eyes.

Sidian smiled and nodded.

"Praise the High Father! I never thought I would be a grandpa," he chuckled as he touched her soft blushing cheek. "Come, let's get her out of the cold. I am an elder now. I have enough power to keep you safe from the brass guards out here, but once we're close to the king, his word is law. I will initiate a tribunal to buy us more safety, but you're both going to need excellent reasons for being here if you want to stay alive," he said as he quickly led them into the mountain.

Sidian and Ragos couldn't help looking around in amazement at the familiar beauty of the glowing stones inside the Living Mountain. In spite of their danger, their hearts felt warm and comforted to be home again. The expansive meadows that stretched out before Gossamer City were just as lush and fragrant as ever.

Even though Sidian and Ragos were considered criminals by returning home without a royal pardon, many inner guards that had attended school with them ran forward to greet them. Zorin had kept many of his fellow dragons' hearts soft towards his sons while they were gone. Faddon's unlikable behavior made his job easy.

As they were entering the main square of Gossamer City, they were stopped by the green dragon elder, Tornabby. He had a small collection of royal guards behind him. He had sensed Sidian's and Ragos's return. Dragon elders were strongly attuned with the magic of the Living Mountain. They could use it to divine events happening around their home and afar.

"Halt, criminals! Why have you returned here without a royal pardon? Are you keen to forfeit your lives?" Tornabby demanded as he looked among their familiar faces.

"No, green elder," Zorin answered. "They have both returned for reasons strong enough to overrule their initial banishment. I am calling forth a royal tribunal for their protection until those reasons can be presented to the king and elders. These boys are under my life protection until their voices are heard," he declared as he slammed the end of his red staff against the stones, causing a burst of red light to expand from that point on the ground.

The red ring of light slowly rippled across the ground in an expanding circle. It swept through the meadows and through the city before it climbed up the glowing mountain walls for every dragon to see. Sidian and Ragos looked at each other and gulped. Everyone would have to gather on the outer edge of the holy garden to witness their trial. If they tried to flee before the tribunal was complete, Zorin would die for declaring them worthy enough to stand before the king.

Sidian and Ragos had a short rest with Zorin in their old home before they were summoned to the holy garden. The elders looked to Lacia first since she wasn't on trial. Sidian presented her to a disgruntled Faddon and a fascinated group of elders. He explained who she was and why it was important that no dragon threaten her life. If she was harmed by a dragon, it would bring down the wrath of the High Father on their race.

Faddon was forced to admit that Lacia was his daughter and conceived under treasonous circumstances. The elders confirmed her lineage with a dragon birthstone. A dragon birthstone would begin to resonate with a specific color of light the very second a dragon's heart began to beat. The stones helped the elders track the dragon population, even when a dragon lived outside of the Living Mountain. Lacia's white birthstone glowed half as brightly as normal since she was a half-dragon, adding to the evidence of Faddon's treason.

Lacia was ruled an innocent bystander to any crime and labeled a powerful person of interest. She would be protected by the dragons until the end of her natural life. Sidian felt tremendous relief with that ruling. He breathed a little easier as he watched Zorin carry Lacia over to a bench among the wildflowers. He lay her down and kissed her white cheek before he returned to sit with the elders. Sidian didn't like that the bench sat behind Faddon's tribunal throne. He had to see the hated king whenever he glanced at Lacia. Sidian knew the elder ruling didn't guarantee Lacia would ever be raised from her timeless sleep. If Faddon got his way about it, she would remain half dead until the end of civilization.

Ragos was the first dragon called to stand on the dais below the shimmering white fountain at the heart of the holy garden. He would have to explain his reason for returning to the Living Mountain in spite of his banishment. If he failed to convince the king and elders of his innocence, he would immediately be sentenced to diminish. He would be chained to the inner-wall of the Living Mountain and placed in a magic slumber. While he slept, the mountain would slowly reabsorb his life magic, turning him to stone in less than five years. Once the process was complete, the dragon was considered dead.

Ragos was nervously chewing his lip as he looked between Faddon's disgruntled face and the elder seats of honor. The seats of honor stood on a stone platform at the edge of the holy garden on the king's right-hand side. There was an elder for every color of dragon born in the living mountain, except for the black dragons. Sidian was the only remaining black dragon. Faddon had slaughtered his entire family over a hundred years earlier.

To an outsider, the tribunal would look rather mystical. Like everything in the Living Mountain, the garden resonated with the glow of the stones around it. The light was comforting to dragon eyes, but to anyone else it would be overwhelming.

"Ragos Rubellite," Tornabby began as he walked to the elder's place of honor. It was a raised circle of stone next to the royal throne. "Clearly state your reasons for returning to the Living Mountain in contempt of your banishment. What you say will determine if you live or die, so try to convince us that you are innocent," he advised.

"I will. Thank you, elder Tornabby," Ragos said with a quick bow in his direction. He also bowed in recognition to King Faddon before he did anything else.

Ragos took a deep breath and stood for a moment, collecting his thoughts. He glanced at Sidian, standing below the dais in a patch of silver clovers. Sidian always looked stoic. Even when he was exhausted and mentally broken, his presence had a calming effect on Ragos. Ragos smiled when he looked past his brother at the crowds of dragons that had gathered to hear the tribunal. They were standing around the outer edge of the holy garden. Tribunals were incredibly rare and often scandalous, so everyone listened carefully.

"I would like to begin by declaring my initial banishment as a huge misunderstanding and a blatant crime," Ragos announced as he turned his gaze on Faddon. The pale-haired king promptly rolled his eyes at him. "I was banished from my home for the act of treasonous fornication with a human in this very garden. Right back there in that bed of yellow aster, to be exact. After thirty years of banishment, I discovered the woman I fucked wasn't human at all. She was a god! The god of love and fertility, no less. Sidian informed me that Cypress's physical description matched the woman I fucked."
