"Sister, there are no laws prohibiting kisses with the century transcendent," chuckled the deep and handsome voice of Bastion as he appeared next to the fountain.

"Indeed," Daphne agreed as she appeared next to her brother. "I would kiss him too if I were Cypress," she said with a flirtatious smile at Sidian. He gulped as he gazed upon her dark beauty. Her eyes shined in her face brighter than dragon fire.

"Sadly, kisses are not why Sidian is here," Cypress said as he backed away from Sidian, allowing him to stand in the weight of the ascended realm without his assistance.

"Fuck..." Sidian groaned as the incredible weight of the heavy air began to force him to his knees.

"Ha, not so easy the second time, is it?" Gwendoline scoffed.

"It doesn't even matter," Sidian began as he took a slow breath and raised his head to meet the goddess's eyes. Every small exertion was making him tremble with fatigue.

"Then why are you here?" she demanded in a condescending tone.

"Did you curse Lacia?" he growled with his heart pounding.

"Ugh, you came here just to ask about that disgusting mutt of a dragon? You consider that worth dying for?" she spat.

A burst of hot rage ignited inside of Sidian after her comment.

"Don't you fucking dare speak ill of her," Sidian growled as blue fire began to spill out of his eyes. He was slowly rising to his feet as his rage consumed him, giving him unnatural strength.

Gwendoline lost her scowl as she watched him stand. She was genuinely impressed for the first time in centuries, but it didn't intimidate her.

"I will speak anything about anyone, you disgusting mortal. I proudly allowed Brimsly and Faddon to curse whatever piece of trash they wanted. They share in my disgust for half-breeds and mortal women, so I blessed them for it," she said with a pleased smile.

The sound that came out of Sidian after her comment made the demigods step back in surprise. It was a thunderous growl of rage that trembled through the holy garden. Gwendoline watched in astonishment as brilliant blue fire engulfed Sidian, quickly transforming him into his war form. His massive right flank knocked the holy fountain off its foundation, sending it rolling across the sparkling lawn.

The beautiful black dragon let out another terrifying roar as he spewed forth a wave of scorching blue fire. It blasted violently around Gwendoline. She shrieked and threw up her hands to shield her face. The holy garden trembled from the noise of the violent blue furnace spewing out of the enraged dragon. Sidian didn't stop his attack until all of his magic was drained, and he began to shrink back into his humanoid form. He soon collapsed in the grass next to the portal, naked and unconscious.

Cypress burst out laughing when he looked at his sister. Sidian had burned most of the hair from her head and completely ruined her white dress. It was nothing but smoldering black rags clinging to her fair body. Bastion and Daphne stared at their sister in astonishment for a moment. The humiliated shock on Gwendoline's face made them burst out laughing. Their laughter quickly turned Gwendoline's embarrassment into rage.

"I fucking hate all of you," she growled as she looked down at her destroyed dress.

"Don't be like that, sister," Bastion laughed. "Sidian is recklessly passionate and violent for all the right reasons. He is a remarkable mortal, just like our brother said. I shall give him my century blessing," he said with a smile.

"So shall I," Daphne chuckled.

"Bunch of traitors," Gwendoline growled as she quickly regenerated her shimmering gold locks and dress. She began to stomp out of the garden to sulk.

"Don't forget to lift the curse from the roses, sister! You owe me that," Cypress called after her.

Gwendoline made a very rude gesture towards her brother before she vanished from the holy garden.

"Well, I believe I officially won bragging rights for this century," Cypress said with a satisfied smile as he stepped over to Sidian. He knelt beside him and gently ran his fingers through his shiny black hair, causing him to open his tired eyes. Sidian watched curiously as Cypress leaned down and kissed him on the cheek. "It's time for you to go home and rest, baby dragon. I'll make sure you land softly this time. I'll even give you some pants," he whispered with a smirk. Then he lifted Sidian in his arms and personally carried him back into the portal.

Every dragon in the Living Mountain was watching the holy portal when out stepped the most beautiful man they had ever seen, and Sidian was resting half-conscious in his arms. Everyone gasped in realization of what they were witnessing. They knew they were seeing a demigod.

Cypress smiled at the shock on Faddon's face as he approached him. The terrified dragon tripped and stumbled out of the royal throne to get away from the demigod. Cypress gently placed Sidian on the cushioned throne so he could rest. Then he kissed his favorite dragon on the forehead before he turned and glared at the former king.

"King Sidian, what shall we do with this wretch?" Cypress asked.

Sidian sighed and pushed himself into a sitting position. He looked at Faddon as he groveled on the ground.

"Brass Dragon Guards!" Sidian announced, demanding their full attention. Everyone watched in amazement as they all turned towards him and bowed. "Two of you seize that traitorous dragon and seal him to the wall. Free my brother so you can use his manacle," he instructed.

The brass guards bowed to him again before the closest two guards stepped forward and seized Faddon. They dragged him kicking and screaming over to the criminal wall. They released Ragos so they could lock Faddon in his place. Poor Ragos slumped to the ground, still fast asleep as Faddon continued kicking and screaming for help. Cypress chuckled at the scene before snapping his fingers, instantly putting Faddon to sleep and waking Ragos. Ragos yawned and scratched his head as he looked over to see Faddon chained to the wall.

"Holy fuck!" he gasped and quickly scrambled away from him. He looked around the garden in confusion for a moment. Then he met Cypress's familiar eyes. "Hey... I remember you. You look different now," Ragos said with a huge grin as he stood and approached the beautiful demigod.

"It really is hard to forget the best fuck of your life, isn't it?" Cypress asked with a wink.

"Definitely... might we do that again some time?" he asked curiously.

"Sure, I'm free later tonight."

"Excellent! I'll be here drunk with no pants on, just like last time."

"Then it's a date," Cypress declared before he turned and walked back over to Sidian. "Feeling better now, baby dragon?"

"Yeah... a lot. Thank you, Cypress," he whispered with a smile.

"Don't mention it. By the way, someone is waiting for you," he whispered as he looked towards the back of the garden.

Sidian gasped in realization and quickly jumped up from the throne. He looked back to see Lacia sitting up on the cushioned bench. She was looking around in confusion. She smiled when she met Sidian's gaze. He completely forgot his exhaustion and rushed to her. He fell to his knees at her feet and embraced her. He burst into sobs as he squeezed her waist and felt her heartbeat.

"My god, Sidian... where are we? Is this heaven?" Lacia asked as she hugged his head and kissed his hair.

"No. We're alive. This is Gossamer City. We're inside the Living Mountain. My home... our home," he said as he drew away from her so he could look into her sparkling gray eyes again.

"Good... good," she breathed in relief as she held his beautiful face between her hands.

Cypress approached them and sat down next to Lacia on the bench so he could touch her beautiful gold curls. She slowly turned to look at him, knowing there was something extremely special about him. The beauty and color of his skin, hair, and eyes were amplified when he was close to the ascended realm portal.

"Lacia," Sidian began, "this is Cypress. An old friend of mine."

"Cypress... THE Cypress?" she whispered in amazement.

"At your service. I need to inform you of something very special before I go, Lacia. Wait here for just a moment," he whispered before he stood and approached the elders and spoke to them.

"What happened while I was out?" Lacia whispered in bewilderment as she looked at Sidian.

"A lot. I'll explain everything in time, but rest assured, we're safe now," he whispered as he laid his head in her lap to rest.

The demigod sat down beside Lacia again, holding two beautiful stones in his hands. They were both black as night and bright at the same time. Rich blue light radiated out of the hearts of the stones.

"That's incredible," Lacia whispered as she touched one of the stones. "It reminds me of your magic, Sidian," she said with a huge smile.

"It should. This one is his birthstone," Cypress said as he handed one of the glowing stones to Lacia. "When a baby dragon's heart begins to beat, a living stone starts to glow. That's how the dragons keep track of their small population," he explained.

"That's remarkable. Wait a minute..." she whispered as she looked between the two black stones. "Why are there two, Sidian? You said you're the only black dragon left in the world."

He smiled hugely as he picked up her hands and kissed them.

"That was true until a short time ago," he whispered as he searched her eyes.

Lacia's mouth dropped open as she began to realize what he meant.

"Holy shit!" she breathed as tears began to fill her eyes. "I'm going to have a baby dragon? Oh my god! That's horrifyingly wonderful!" she laughed with her hand over her mouth. "I think I'm going to puke."

"Shh, look at me for a moment, Lacia," Cypress whispered as he touched her cheek and pulled her eyes back to him. She gazed into the iridescent green shimmer of his eyes, and her stomach settled. She simply felt overwhelmed with joy at that point. "In a few months, you're going to have a beautiful little black egg. It will gestate and grow here in the Living Mountain for another year before it hatches. It will be a magnificent little boy," he said with a smile.

"I'm going to have an egg?" she chuckled in disbelief.

"Trust me, it's way less painful than a human birth," he assured her. "I must be going now. Congratulations to you both. I'll be seeing you from time to time," he said as he looked between Sidian and Lacia.

"Thank you, Cypress, for everything," Sidian whispered as he watched the demigod vanish into the air, leaving a soft green glow behind him.

Cypress closed the holy portal and returned to the immortal realm. He strolled through the Garden of Fate and smiled at the destruction Sidian had caused. Daphne and Bastion were amusing themselves by cleaning it up. A demigod could easily snap a finger and return the garden to its former glory, but sometimes they enjoyed doing things the way a mortal would do it. It helped them remain sympathetic towards lesser beings. Gwendoline never participated in such tasks. Cypress helped Bastion place the large fountain basin back on its dais in the middle of the garden. Daphne walked around it and repaired any cracks with molten platinum, giving the fountain more shine.

"Your dragon is tremendous fun, Cypress," Daphne said as she winked at her brother.

"I knew you would enjoy him," he said as he admired her midnight complexion and white-hot eyes.

"I also enjoyed him," Bastion said as he waved his hand over the fountain to generate new water. It rained from the sky and splashed into the basin like sparkling diamonds. Then a little spout of water shot up from the middle of the pool and began showering back down, bringing the fountain to life.

"Bastion," Cypress began as he admired his handsome, dark-skinned brother. "I know you can judge the value of all things. Something occurred to me recently. Which demigod is more valuable in this century?"

"Cypress, that is a value I refuse to divulge. I wouldn't want to depress or insult anyone with a short temper," he said with a wink.

"Of course," he sighed in disappointment.

"It's good to have the fountain working again," Daphne said as she stood on the dais and peered into the shimmering water.

Cypress knew she was seeing something in the mortal realm previously set in motion by her magic before the century turned.

"Are you spying on your favorite mortal again, sister?" Cypress asked as he sat on the edge of the fountain close to her.

"I am, brother. I have more than one favorite, just like you. The young mortal that we both favor will influence Bastileborn like no one ever has before. She has your erotic passion and my brutal fire in her soul. It's time to refine her spirit. You and I shall plan an exciting crucible for her in the Leeriod Desert," she said with a wicked smile.

"You are definitely my favorite sister," he whispered before he kissed her cheek.

This concludes Dragon Fire. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I have. The storylines for the next Bastileborn epic are in the works. Happy reading!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed my biggest epic story so far. I wrote this across ten years and I'm still improving it and planning at least two more Bastileborn novels.

You're very observant and pointed out key features of my writing style. My writing is pure indulgence, hence the royalty and beautiful bodies. I'm like a French pastry chef when it comes to erotica. I want it beautiful, full of layers, and satisfying. Also, from personal experience, some younger men can recover fast ;D

My writing and editing are constantly evolving and improving. I might dabble in more realism in the future, but like a five-tiered wedding cake, Bastileborn was meant to be opulent.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I hope you continue enjoying my writing!

I purchased and read the book via the Amazon Kindle Store. I enjoyed the story, and the book was well worth the purchase. There was an evolution in the sex scenes as the book went on. They got a bit longer, and had more detail, in the later chapters. I'm guessing this book was written over a lengthy period of time in real-life? None were as incredibly hot as some of your other works on this site, though. I guess that's to be expected, since Bastileborn is supposed to be a more epic and story-based piece.

It was a little weird having the guys just keep going after climaxing multiple times. Dragons, sure. Having a god's blessing, okay. But the normal human guys... I don't know. That doesn't happen much with the guys I've been with, and from what I hear from most girl-talk. In some of your other stories here, the men are able to bring the woman to orgasm, and still hold off on their own to give her more pleasure. That's hotter and doesn't break the immersion.

Did all the main characters were princes or princesses, though? Yes, it's an erotic fantasy epic, so we do like to picture attractive people having sex. But it's harder to relate to and bond with a character that's nobility/royalty. Anyway, please don't take what criticisms I have negatively. Overall, this book was great!

I love your work. Thank you for writing, and I hope you continue.
