Keep writing. It was a great read. Nicely heated twist on the "crap I screwed up and am in so much trouble". Similar to when you were a kid and knew you were so busted.

It's sad but true, sometimes people are so stupid that slavery may be the only way to save them from their own bad decisions. Masters take away the decision process from the slave. This makes the master have to be the responsible party but if the slave is that dumb, it may keep them alive.
