Good story, the decriptions were great and the suspence you caused was good too. You need to pay a little more attention to punctuation. Adding a few commas would make it easier to read without any bumps.

* the way she keeps her cool, polished, manicured, responsible exterior while her passion is barely caged within her ... it has that "ring of truth"
