Small grammatical error, looks like you forgot to reference Avery as "him". Makes it confusing since he's just one person, not multiple.

Per the request of the person who commissioned this story, Avery is non-binary so in this instance ‘they/them’ are the appropriate pronouns :)

I'm pretty sure Avery is a female with they, them, pronouns. Very gender inclusive of the author. Great job Sianwrites. I quite enjoyed the story, though the ending seams to either be a lead into a second part, or a slightly morbid end to the main characters. Lol.
