All Comments on 'Blessed Ch. 04: New Normal'

Sooooo... Yeah, it has been a while I actually have entire back and reread the series to make sure I had everything in my mind.

You really have something special going here - seriously. If I had my druthers, I'd tip the balance between plot and sex a smidge further over to the plot side. (and ramp up the length and production speed of chapters, but I totally get it.)

No matter what, you, you have strong, well-written characters, an interesting premise, and clear potential for a LOT of growth. If you're able to keep at it, I hope we get to keep reading this story for years and years to come.

What an incredible piece of literature. You obviously have amazing talent for writing. The characters you create are explained so well that they can easily be pictured which i find very impressive considering the variety of races you have places in this story. Even better is how you have taken what might be a normal character from mythology or any number of books, movies, and games and changed them so you have created your own new races or even a variation (such as a cousin) or even a blending which would make sense considering the world you created. The sex scenes aren’t just a repetitive raw animalistic pounding but you achieved a sense intimacy and playfulness while still erotic and hot. I love how you added the language variance being noticed by one character after they had been conversing for awhile and was almost seen as an accident while looking at how something was mouthed. I could go on and on but overall this is such an emotionally fulfilling and enchanting tale that I was thrilled to go back and reread it so I could fully enjoy your latest addition to the story. On a more personal note, I am very appreciative of the honesty you have shown when explaining why it might take awhile for each chapter to be posted. I have seen a few other authors do the same and I think it allows the readers to see how difficult it is to create a story when there is real life going on all around us. I think it is taken for granted sometimes that an author has to make the time to come up with everything involved in a story and then there is the editing to try and make everything as perfect as possible. You don’t hear the complaining when it takes a musician/group to put out a new album/cd every few years. Just my thoughts when I read a thoughtless comment by someone who creates nothing but grief. Thanks for taking the large amount of time to do everything you do when writing a wonderful tale like this, it is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback, but especially after the day I just had (work can suck balls some days), it was so awesome to come home, sit down to check my notifications, and see this. On that note about work, you're totally right that it takes time and effort to put out writing, even if it's only 30ish pages a month, especially when I've got a nearly-full-time-job and my own sanity to take care of - there are definitely days that I don't want to put in that effort, but it's comments like your, knowing that I'm doing something good that help me to keep at it each day.

This is a very enjoyable adventure. The lack of progress is disappointing, so definitely looking forward to more.

To be pedantic, if I've got it right, he doesn't have an absurd amount of aether, he has a small amount but can channel / replenish almost instantaneously?
