I can't even really put into words how awesome that chapter, those chapters, were. Holy cow.

Take all the time you need to finish this fantastic trilogy. If offered my 2 cents, I'd say that Kaori has legends passed down in their clan for what kind of mage he is. Or at least, a famous case of his affinity. Jia may have been around so long as to be the reason for that legend passing down, and even to the indoctrination of mages not ever using their bodies as weapons. Imagine some amoral mage enslaving vampires, shifters, possibly even other mages, in addition to humans with their power. Blood enemies would unite to take out a foe such as that. Being able to sire others into slavery is something that even the vampires are held in check about, in their numbers. And the bond may not be that easy to sense... All told, their reaction to his presence makes a ton of sense. He was the next head of a clan, whose current head was a backstabbing cheating asshole without honor. Yeah, you'd piss on your honor to stop a monster from getting control of that much power right out of the gate. Good thing for us that partially because of how he was treated, he grew into a far better person. One that also just happened to find another beautiful soul (and more now as well) to join with. Its a shame all those vampires and mages had to die out of fear, though had he been what they feared their sacrifice would have been worthy. ~I suppose that's a bit more than two cents. I also suppose I hadn't been asked for it... But, there you go ^.^

All in all. Just wow. Thank you so much for this mammoth coc- err, contribution to my reading pleasure. ^.^ I have no doubt that Dakota will be watching him, and if she's looking closely, she'll see what we see. A good man, in love. AAAHHH!!! I Just love they're making babies!!

Though usually the sex usually involved much deeper connections than normal.

Please learn the difference between "passed" and "past"... what was sorta funny though was you used both words in the same sentence, at one point, but only one was correct.

Aside from that minor detail (and some extra commas at weird places), its an excellent story and a pleasure to read.

I also skimmed through the sex parts... There's a great story in there if you can find it buried under the way too much sex... Also i wasn't very pleased with the harem direction the story's taken.. It lessens the impact of the love between he and Katrina...
