This story reads like the outline of a good story. Why was John furious? Was Rachel pregnant? This could be a set of stories: Rachel learning to blow John, Rachel in SF, Rachel as a hippy, Rachel as a corporate wife/partner then Nancy comes along, etc...Meanwhile, the control thing is an interesting tension. How is Rachel's attitude changing? More, please.
