What’s with the pronouns and them referring themselves as guys? Butches don’t consider themselves as women or what? Isn’t that approaching trans territory and the other one is a they, wouldn’t that make them non-binary. So could they still be called a lesbian at that point? Man I’m so confused.

Just to address some of the FAQs in the comments - some butches consider themselves women, some don't. There is an overlap between lesbian / gender non-conforming / non-binary / trans identities. Butches use a variety of pronouns. I couldn't find a lot of stories about people like me on here (shoutout to butch4butch, I love your stuff) so I'm writing some, and using the language me and my peers use for ourselves. If that doesn't reflect your experience or isn't what you want to read, no worries, I hope you find something that suits you better.
