"What the fuck did I do?" AJ said the very moment his eyes opened. "Jesus fuck," he swore, rolling over and pushing his face into his pillow. He let out a primal scream, and then slowly inhaled. He could still smell her on him, her pussy juices on his face a lips, his nose, his hands. He could smell her ass, the scent of body butter, her sex, her pheromones. She was a succubus, a demon, a denizen from the six hundred and sixty-six layers of the primal abyss. She would flay his skin from his flesh, break his bones, and torment his soul....

"God damn it," he whispered. He tried to not think about it, but it was right there, fresh in his mind. He could still feel her lips wrapped around the base of his cock, sucking while his throat convulsed around him, milking his seed from his manhood. He reached down and squeezed himself, trying to make it go away. It was hard as a fucking rock, throbbing, pulsating, wanting more. AJ squeezed his cock until it hurt, and then let go, satisfied he'd punished himself enough. He was sure he'd get punished plenty more, but for now, his cock had been properly disciplined. "Mommy's pussy is off limits," he said, making a promise to himself, and his penis. He would not let that happen. Never. Not in a million years.

"Fuck," he swore again, now remembering how he'd left things with Abbey. He jumped up and went to his dressed, grabbed his phone, and opened it. "God damn, mother-fucking, updates," he swore. He'd tried to text Abbey before going to sleep, to warn her against coming over. He'd tried to warn her against sending him any more lewd texts or pictures, just in case he hadn't been able to remove all the spyware from his phone. He'd tried, and failed miserably, when the moment he hit the send button, his phone mysteriously blinked off. The next moment a little robot-looking thing appeared on the screen and his phone said "performing critical updates. Do not turn your phone off."

Grumbling about the wrong time and the wrong place, AJ went to his messages and saw the text he'd sent. No. Tried to send it. It said "failed" next to it, and AJ groaned. He hit the send button again and waited. A moment later his phone said, "failed".

"God damn it!" He stood there, half-naked, and restarted his phone. Once he had it back up and running, he hit the send button. It showed as sent this time. He sighed. He waited a few seconds. When nothing happened, and no reply came back, he dropped the phone to the top of his dresser and moaned into his hands. He slowly inhaled and smelled Melody's scent again.

"God damn," he groaned. He was going to wash his hands. He needed to. He had to get rid of the evidence. But she was everywhere it seemed. His face, his hands, his neck, even his cock. He put a hand down his underwear and brought it back up to his face. He could smell her mouth on him. He jerked his head up and stared at the ceiling as if there were no escape from this, and the truth was, there wasn't. He might as well have fucked her, for all he had done, and all he'd allowed her to do to him.

"This is what I get," He breathed, ripping his clothes off. He pushed his underwear down off his hips, raised one foot, and caught the garment halfway down and stomped. Instead of yanking his underwear down to his ankles, the waistband caught on the back of his calf, and he heard a loud "RRRRIIIIPPP!"

AJ shook his head and tried his best to keep from screaming. He kicked the underwear up in the air, caught them with one hand, and lifted them in front of himself. They were all stretched out now, loose and saggy, reminding him of his father's underwear. "Gross," AJ said, and he tossed them into the trash can next to his dresser.

"Come on AJ," he said then, grabbing a fresh new pair. "It's a new day. Pull yourself together. It's not a big deal." He grabbed a t-shirt and pulled it on over his head. "Your stepmother just gave you a blow job," he said quietly. "It...it was a birthday present." He smirked and then bent over to grab a pair of shorts and banged his head on his dresser drawer.

"Ow! Fucking shit!" He said to himself. He jerked his shorts on, and then grabbed a button-up shirt, pulled it on, but left the front unbuttoned. He swiped a hand through his hair, tossing it a bit, and considered putting it in a ponytail. Melody had been right about one thing. His hair was really nice now. The heavy greasy feeling was gone, replaced with a kind of bouncy full-bodied...he didn't know what else, but it had it.

He hurried through his morning routine, checked to see if his sheets needed changing or not, and finding them pretty much clean, he decided to pass. Halfway up the stairs, he paused. He slipped his hand into his shorts pocket and pulled out his phone. The pictures. The texts. He needed to get everything off his phone. Knowing Melody, she'd ask him to hand it over the moment she saw him.

Quickly, he went back to his room, fell into his love seat heavily, and powered up his gaming console. He made sure his Iron Key was still plugged into the game console's USB port and then thumbed through his phone until he found the folder that contained his downloads. He could see one of the pictures from Abbey on the folder and he immediately sent the entire thing to his game console. A notification flashed on his screen. He grabbed his controller and fed the pictures into his iron key. He waited, watching, as the iron key ate the information and then verified it had copied the data.

AJ deleted the folder off his phone and then went for his text logs. As he was backing out, he realized he might want to move all the porn he had on the phone too. While Melody had made it clear she knew about the porn, and that she'd intentionally left it for him, it was clear she didn't want him to have it. For some odd reason, it was causing her some sort of emotional meltdown. Now, she felt he shouldn't have it. Why? Why was it okay for him to have porn on an encrypted USB drive, but not on his phone? Suddenly he thought he knew. What if it wasn't Melody at all? What if all of this was because of his father?

AJ went over what he knew. His father, for the most part, was a disgusting, self-centered, self-serving asshole. Yes, he supported AJ, and yes he kept a roof over his head, but at the same time, before Melody and Candice showing up, he'd treated AJ almost like a slave. AJ did everything, prior to Melody showing up. He did the dishes, the laundry, the cooking, the cleaning, everything. He brought in the mail. He made sure his dad paid the bills, which was a more difficult thing to do than anyone could ever assume. Yes, his father had allowed him to have porn and had even bought him his first magazine, but...what if his father had decided, porn was no longer allowed?

AJ considered this for a moment. What if his father now thought it was an insult? Demeaning toward women? No. His father couldn't care less about that. But Melody...what if he felt Melody would have a problem with it? AJ had seen an entirely new side of his father in the past twenty-four...no. He shook his head. He was still having issues comprehending that he'd been out of it for like three days, and his father and Melody had been home, almost a week now. AJ sighed.

What if all of this bullshit, was because his father thought Melody might have an issue with it? She'd said as much to him when she'd confiscated his "filth" while cleaning. And then, later on, he found she hadn't disposed of it, but had simply brought it up to his father's room, the one she now shared with Jaxson. Why would she do that? Clearly, his father knew where it had come from. And so, did his father agree it was fine for Melody to confiscate his stash? Had he put her up to it?

A cold sinking feeling started to creep into the back of AJ's mind. What if...Melody had left the porn on his phone.... No. Not leave it. Transferred it, knowing full and well what it was, she'd transferred it from his old phone to his new phone. She knew about it. What if...she'd made a copy of it? Why? No. What about blackmail? AJ thought about that for a while. What if this was all a set-up? AJ really didn't know her. The truth was stranger than fiction. What if she was setting them both up? What if, she planned to seduce him, and then plot some sick twisted murder plot, sending AJ to jail for life, while leaving Melody and Candice with a big fat payday?

AJ shook his head. Where in the living fuck, did he come up with this shit? He looked up at the game console and transferred the next folder of porn onto the Iron Key. He grabbed his phone and deleted the folder, right after sending it. He opened another folder on his phone, this one filled with porn as well. He saw the black box video files and clicked the first one. He turned the volume down and put the bottom of his phone up to his ear.

"Oh god, that feels good. Keep sucking baby. Mmmm, Mmmm. Mmpff. Mmpff!"

AJ stopped the playback, his cock already responding, letting him know how much it liked the listen.

"Down boy," AJ said, and he sent the folder to his console as well. Again he chased it to the Iron Key and then deleted all trace of it, and its passage. Once his phone was completely empty, he checked it again. No texts, no pictures, nothing. It was as barren as the Sahara. He checked the iron key, saw everything was onboard, and then unplugged it from the console. He shut everything down, and then put the Iron Key on his bookshelf, right where he knew he could find it.

He headed upstairs and found his father and Melody sitting in the front room, enjoying a breakfast of fresh fruit and orange juice.

"Good morning sleepy head," Melody said innocently, taking a bite of pineapple. "You want a bite to eat? Before you go job hunting?"

"Ahhh, yeah, sure," AJ said, leaning over to grab a piece of watermelon off a large plate.

"Go get your own!" Jaxson said, sitting up and glaring at him.

"Sorr-rrry," AJ said, recoiling from the plate. "I thought that was for everyone."

"Well, you don't ever ask. You always just assume," his father said sharply.

"She asked me if I wanted some!" AJ said and he saw his father clench his jaw in anger. "You know what? I'm not hungry. I've got a lot of shit to do today," AJ said, heading directly for the front door.

"AJ," Melody called out to him, just as he was slipping his shoes on. "Did you take care of that thing we discussed?"

"Yup," AJ replied with a nod. "I cleaned it up, tossed it all in the trash."

Melody started to say something else, but AJ wasn't sticking around to listen. He opened the door and walked out swiftly, closed the doors behind himself, and hurried for his car. He was putting the keys into the ignition when Melody came running out the front door, and he waited as she came over to the driver's side of his car. He rolled the window down.

"I just wanted to apologize," Melody said, folding her arms across her chest.

"About what?" AJ asked, checking his rear-view and side-view mirrors.

"About...your father."

"Don't apologize to him," AJ said. "He's not going to change. I'm fine. Really."

"He's worried you're going to leave," Melody said then, taking AJ by surprise.

"Leave? Why would I leave?"

"Well, he thinks you're going to find some super well-paying job, and then you're going to find a really nice girl, and then you're going to leave... and then, he'll be all alone."

"He won't be alone," AJ said confidently. "He'll have you around."

"Oh no you don't," Melody said then, stepping back from the car. "If you think you're going to pawn your father off on me, you can think again."

"You married him!" AJ said then as if that one statement meant exactly that. "Till death do you part!"

"We didn't say that," Melody said then as if it were a factual sticking point. "We changed our vows to leave a bunch of that meaningless mumbo-jumbo out. It was more of a promise to mutually pleasure and confide in until it gets too boring to endure anymore. Something like that."

"Well, whatever," AJ said. "It doesn't matter."

"AJ, please," Melody said then. "Promise me...just, promise you're not going to leave."

"I already said I'm not leaving," AJ said. "I already know he's going to start charging me rent and charging me for food and electricity, and water. All that shit. I already know. That's part of why I don't want to get a job because once I do, I'm not going to see a penny of it."

"Well, you live here rent-free," Melody said.

"Yeah. Slaves live rent-free too. I get it."

Melody's jaw dropped open and she gave AJ an incredulous look. "Slaves...don't...have...mommies, like me."

"What? You think you're going to protect me? Keep my father from...being himself?" AJ said, doing a pretty good job at not calling his father an asshole again.

"I will," Melody said then. "We both will. We'll slowly mold him into something better than he is right now. It doesn't happen overnight, but it can happen. It will happen."

AJ put a tongue in his cheek as if he didn't really believe her, but he nodded anyway.

"Help me out," Melody said then. "Help me make the changes and we'll all live, and breathe a little easier."

"What about last night?" AJ asked then.

Melody looked up as if making sure Jaxson wasn't peering out of a window or something, and then looked back down at him. "It was a one-time thing. I told you. It was my fault. I made up for it. I set things right."

"And, it was my birthday," AJ said.

"Yes," Melody said, nodding. "It was. Happy Birthday."

AJ smiled then. "Best birthday present I ever got," he said.

"Re-really?" Melody said with a smile. "Well, I...well, you know," she said, her face turning a shade of pink.

"Okay, I gotta go," AJ said, putting the car into drive.

"When are you coming home?" Melody asked.

"Later. Probably five or six, unless I'm in an interview or something. I've got my phone if you need to get a hold of me."

"Speaking of your phone," Melody said then. "Did you really get rid of it?"

"Yes," AJ said.

"All of it?"

"Yes," AJ repeated. "It's clean. I even saved new folders over the old ones so you can't recover the deleted stuff. It's all gone."

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have teased you like that."

"No, it's no problem," AJ said then. "Really, I have to go."

"Alright," Melody said, and she stepped around in front of the car, headed back up to the porch where she stood, and knocked on the door, waiting for AJ's father to open the door for her.

AJ put the car into drive, and pulled out onto the street, heading for the corner strip mall and the little shop on the end that served breakfast until noon. As he pulled into the parking lot, his phone started going off like crazy, and at first, he thought something was wrong until he pulled it out and looked at it.

Immediately he saw the messages, a ton of them, from Abbey.

Abbey: Hey. You going to send me your address?

Abbey: I'm at the corner.

Abbey: Hello?

Abbey: Fuck.

Abbey: You're probably sleeping.

Abbey: This was dumb. Message me when you wake up, if you're not dead.

Abbey: Hey killer! What's with all the cryptic messages this morning?

AJ messaged her back, telling her about his phone having to update, and then about him leaving to go job hunting.

Abbey: Oh yeah? Where you at? You want some company?

AJ replied, telling her he was at his corner, sitting in his car, ready to go into the cafe for some breakfast. He hit the send button and then waited. When he didn't get a reply, he thought maybe his phone was screwing up again, until there was a loud knock on the window and he jumped in his seat. He turned, looked up, and saw the dark uniform of a police officer, standing at his window. He rolled it down just a bit.

"Hello Officer," AJ said.

"Wow. Never had someone call me "officer" before," Abbey laughed. "You gonna unlock the doors?"

"Abbey!" AJ yelped, unlocking the doors and then getting out quickly. "What the hell? How did you get here?"

"I teleported," Abbey said. "In fact, I use this time machine that's parked around back so it doesn't raise any suspicions. It's from 1992 and has only two wheels. It's called a bi-cycle. I know, I know, crazy right?"

AJ smiled at her, loving her sense of humor. "No, seriously. How are you here right now?"

"Seriously. I rode my bike," she said. "My parents won't let me drive the car because they're afraid I'll crash it. Probably right. Anyway, so, I work next door at the tanning salon." AJ thought she had to be joking. Her skin was as white as white could be, her hair jet black. "I rode up here to see what my schedule was. Turns out, I don't work today, so..."

"I'm hungry," AJ said.

"Oh. Well, we can get in your back seat if you want."

It took AJ a second to figure out what Abbey was insinuating, and then another to hide his embarrassment. "I'm hungry for breakfast," he said.

"It is breakfast," Abbey replied. "One of the basic food groups. Just what a-" Abbey stopped speaking, looking up, and saw his hair. "Holy fuck dude! Who did your hair?"

"Nobody," AJ said, smiling. "I just...washed it."

"Do you like it when people pull your hair?" Abbey asked.

"Not particularly," AJ replied.

"Well, I'm going to apologize in advance, cause there's no way I'm not grabbing that shit."

"Can we go inside?" AJ asked her.

"Yeah. No. We have to stand here in the parking lot," Abbey said, walking toward the cafe.

They went inside, and Abbey immediately headed for a corner booth and slid into the seat. AJ slid in next to her, and when she didn't move any further than right next to him, he gave her an awkward questioning look.

"People sit together," Abbey said, returning the look. "You wanna play checkers, I'll sit over there. You want this to be our second date, I sit here."

"No, I don't mind," AJ said, reaching over under the table to tickle her side. "I actually prefer sitting next to you."

"Good," Abbey said, and the waitress came to their table and asked them what they wanted to order.

"I'll take the usual," Abbey said, and the waitress nodded.

"Okay, I'll take the usual too," AJ replied. The waitress looked at him, and then Abbey, and then him again.

"What's your usual?" The waitress asked.

"Oh. I thought it was a menu item," AJ said, and Abbey laughed. He grabbed the menu and flipped through it, ordered his food and drink, and then handed the menu over.

"I, uh...I didn't ask first," Abbey said quietly after the waitress had left and it was just the two of them again.

"It was my mom," AJ said, thinking he knew what Abbey was going to say.

"Your mom?"

"Yeah. She came down to my room to tell me she was sorry for being a bitch."

"Well, that was nice," Abbey said with a chuckle. "Is she going to pay for my food?"

"What? Why would she pay for your food?"

"Because I was gonna say, I forgot my wallet at my house. I can pay you back later, or Henrietta will just put it on my tab."

"You have a wallet?" AJ asked.

"Yeah. Don't you?"

"Yes," AJ replied, "but I'm a dude."

Abbey gave him a look as if she were going to get up and walk out of the cafe. AJ gave her a confused look. "That is some sexist shit right there," Abbey said as if she couldn't believe what he'd just said.

"No, I mean, It's just-" AJ gave up. "Look, I'm sorry. I'm not saying it's bad. I think it's cool."

"I just don't see the point in carrying around a bunch of useless bullshit!" Abbey said. "Lipstick and eyeliner. Keys, pocket change, everything else goes in the wallet."

"What about, if you have that time of the month?" AJ asked.

"Oooo. Modern thinking. The feminist reveals himself. I can put a pad in my back pocket, or an extra tampon."

AJ nodded and then turned to her, staring for a moment. He really hadn't gotten a lot of chances to really look at her, until now. She had extremely light skin, with exaggeratedly black eyes and lips. She wore black lipstick today, black eyeliner, and eyeshadow. She had a small perky nose, thick natural eyelashes, and jet-black eyebrows that matched her shoulder-length hair. She wore it swept over to one side, keeping half her face shadowed in mystery.
