He's straight and has never been attracted to a man like this before, until the day at the country club. It turns out to actually be a female, who then identifies as non-binary (which he's fine with), and then identifies as trans (and he's fine with that too). It's Kate's decision to let her identity prevent her from doing something she actually wants to do (being with Adam) that pushes him over the edge. Yes, obviously, the story is incredibly far-fetched and not likely to every happen -- it's fiction, get over it.

But, if you don't think a man's balls will clack together 3 times before a massive orgasm, then you're either a guy with tiny balls or a girl who's never been fucked by a well-endowed man.
