Your story is so well written and exciting! The ending is pretty realistic for what you would expect from someone who went through all of that. I don't want my personal opinion to take away from that by any stretch. But I wanted so bad for Candace to want to stay with David. But that's probably because I'm a submissive who loves nonconsent play to a bit of an extreme. I can recognize that David is not a good dude but man is he one sexy dom. A dark story with a dark ending. Thank you for this story's ending. No HEA but instead a look at the permanent psychological damage David inflicted on Cadence due to his sadistic actions. Cadence's inner strength allowed her to survive, but David's brutality led her to believe deep down she wanted this darker side. His torture of her was similar to the way war prisoners are broken. No one could go through what she did without permanent scars both external and internal. There is not enough therapy in the world that could repair the damage inflicted by David. Only Cadence can channel her inner strength and seek revenge. An individual's innocence or virginity can not be restored.

He is a sick individual who in 10 years will be free and will seek Cadence out to continue torturing her by using Lily. I only hope that by that time Cadence will have recovered enough to continue with her previous dreams for the future. Getting rid of her self destructive behavior and becoming a strong, successful woman will surprise David. And with her strength she will destroy him permanently and he will never see it

coming. Cadence is smart and stronger than she knows two years out. But give her another eight years to formulate the perfect revenge and David will disappear.

I found this series really quite realistic. I am glad she and David don’t end up together cause he’s a dick and he was in my view irredeemable. It’s weird because I usually want my protagonist to end up with the hot evil dude but not here so that was an interesting thing for me to experience, wanting it to play out how it did. And it felt realistic how she responded to it all though I was so mad she let him off lightly with the video tape! Anyway. Super hot and great and thanks once again for sharing with us.

Your ending was not my predicted ending, but it also very realistic. I though that David would grab Lily and use her to finally conquer Cady. Then Cady and David would jointly use Lily as a slave. Cady would be corrupted into David's lifestyle.

Another great point is that you set up a confrontation between David and Cady years later. David can never fully conquer Cady, yet Cady needs abuse from him even if she won't admit it. She had the video, but didnt give it to the cops. Does that mean she wants to see her tormenter again someday? So maybe David needs a more subtle, indirect approach. Davy is subtle as a rhino, so maybe not. I hope you write a sequel.

Your powerful ending actually makes more sense and has greater impact. Well done, sir!

I was on the edge in more ways than one. Excellent writing, excellent characterization. excellent plot and an excellent ending. Btw David with good behaviour, should be released before ten years. And yes I agree that Cadence could be considered worse than David in seducing Lily into the life style as she has used their friendship and Lily's love to get what she wants sexually. David at least is honest about his own depravity.

I'm sorry but I can't stand this ending! That son of a bitch really did win. Couldn't you have at least made him suffer in prison? He should be someone else's little bitch not the other way around! Cadence will always be his victim with him living in her head and haunting her dreams. She'll probably drink herself to death before he even gets out. I wish you would have given her some kind of justice. If not that then at least some bad ass revenge! It's just not right that he gets only 10yrs in some easy time fed pen and she gets life! I would have rather you turned this into one of those pathetic magic dick tropes than this.

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who took time over the past three years to read this story, especially those who commented and encouraged me to keep going. There's an alternate universe where this story never got finished, and without those of you who were supportive, interested, and engaged, we'd be there right now. So thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. This is the longest story I've ever written, and the most complete. It was wonderful, very flattering, and so freeing to find a community of folks who were open and willing to follow this story to its end.

This story turned into so much more than I expected it to - it was darker, more violent, and more complicated in its stance than I ever intended. In writing it, I interrogated my own feelings about kink, consent, and sexual desire. I discovered a depth to my darkness that I didn't expect. I found myself needing to find an ending that honored that conflict in myself. In doing so, I knew I would be letting some folks down. I apologize for that.

I understand and sympathize with those who were disappointed, for whatever reason that may be. Whether you wanted David and Cadence to ride happily off into the sunset, or you wanted David to suffer for the rest of his life while Cadence thrived, I totally understand where you're coming from. At different points in writing this, just about every ending y'all have mentioned occurred to me (there were only so many ways it could've gone, tbf) - and just about every ending was written, in drafts, as I tried to figure out what would fit best. Part of why there was such a huge gap between 4 and 5 was because I was trying to decide what would work best - what message or feeling or theme I wanted to try to impart. In that theme, I wanted there to be some disappointment. I wanted you to feel that conflict, that disgust, and to carry it with you into your next noncon adventure. Not because it's wrong to jack off to things like this (I'd be a damn hypocrite if I said that), but because the very nature of this kind of sexual content builds and blooms from that shame, that embarrassment, that feeling that you'll never quite get exactly what you want from it.

So if you're disappointed, I hope you can forgive me.

That being said, if/when I continue to write for Literotica, nothing else will be quite like this story. I will likely err more on the side of a truly happy or truly sad ending, and less of a muddied one, like this. And if I return to this universe, David probably won't survive. Trust me, I wanted him dead too. He's an asshole. But this fucked-up, twisted tale required a fucked-up, twisted ending. I hope I achieved that. I hope you aren't too upset.

This was something entirely unexpected. It's a rare thing in any form of media to feel so many contradicting emotions, to end up reflecting afterwards, or to come away less entertained but maybe having learned just a little bit more.

The fact that you did all this, with what I first went into just for fap material, is astounding. I didn't want to finish reading this at times because of how deeply it delved into the pain and depravity of it all, but I'm glad I did. Seriously don't stop writing, and keep on encouraging people to explore kink safely whether it be through your fiction or in their own lives.

I love non con. I prefer happy endings, as the real world can be pretty dark but that’s the gig with this story. This ending is probably the most realistic ending that could have come from that situation. It’s hot, heartbreaking and very gritty all in one. It was tough for my little heart to handle but that’s what makes it a good read and you a talented writer. 5 stars!

This is my first time ever reading one of these that wasn’t a one shot.. and I’m pretty sure I won’t find one again that is this good. I stayed up super late reading part 1 and then proceeded to keep coming back for more the following days. Not only were the scenes super hot but also the story was gripping. I feel so conflicted on David (just as Cadence clearly does!) between hating him and wanting to see him murdered and loving him and wanting to read more about him being in love with her. The ending sucks but only because it feels so real. I wanted Cadence to get her revenge and go back to normal but it wouldn’t have felt right. Awesome job. I would buy a book written by you!

Thank-you for this well-written piece of novella that engrossed me so. There was a pleasant realism to the story - the shock and disgust one has when their mind and body are at odds with one another; the sickening realization that trauma destroys livelihoods - even if David was not a proper representation of a dominant. However, I believe that was intended -- true dominants would never coerce, or harm their submissive, let alone force someone into submission.

He disgusted me as a character, but I appreciate his character for the representation of atrocious "dominants" and what happens when a person loses their self to their unbridled desires. But also, how some people can commit atrocities, but never be punished to the full extent of their crimes.

Well, that was heavy stuff. Like many other readers I would have preferred that Cadence would win in more terms than just surviving it somehow. Obviously there couldn't be a happily ever after, but she even gave away the little triumph of having him locked up for lifetime probably.

Thankfully the last chapter gave me a better insight on how David's mind works. He won't be able to stay away - probably Cadence's prediciton will come true and they both will really end up dead.

I didn't visit this site until this year when I started publishing a story I had written years ago. I had also started writing a new one which I am still working on, I have already published 17 chapters. I discovered this story through a follower of mine, and was completely enthralled. This was a fantastic tale of emotions, especially delving into the dark side and a Dom who crossed the line. I would have ended it differently, but I am not the writer, and though it was not what I was hoping and rooting for, it had a delicious twist as well. Thank you for writing this story, it completely captivated me.

I’ve been on this site for years & never came across this story until yesterday. I’m truly amazed wow. Loved it!

I've given this 5 stars. Totally gripping, I've read all 6 parts in a couple of days of long bursts, dying to get back to each time. Excellent character development for the two characters and, for me, a really good decision to stick to very much a two hander story, the others appear relatively briefly as needed.

A few of the plot devices within it seemed a bit thin to me and I eventually got tired of the change of POV reversing on the timeline to re-present events for that character, which, for me, stopped the plot flow (I was guilty of skip reading these towards the end). But these are (I hope) positive criticisms of a story I hugely enjoyed. I admit to finding it very disturbing at times. As the subject matter should!

Someone mentioned that David isn't a good representation of a dominant because of his lack of care, but the character does say he normally knows how to look after subs during and after and admits he's a dominant man totally out of control. This justifies it completely for me. Excellent story. Look forward to your next.

Kudos for fleshing out such an intimate portrayal of what is ultimately a profoundly disturbing sexual encounter. Every detail, the physical brutality, passionate sex, emotional gamesmanship, is so exquisitely rendered. The author’s writing carried me along, sometimes making me feel complicit in the ultimate destruction of two lives, particularly the innocent Cadence. But I was compelled to see how the final chapter would play out. It was not the satisfying conclusion I could have hoped for, but the nature of the work was never to imbue calm or satisfaction to the unfolding mayhem.

I can’t leave this comment without mentioning that, as a masochist, I found the violent scenes erotically charged, despite their nonconsensual nature. Much of that has to do with the skill that writingwhilewet uses to transcend the scenes beyond the graphic display that a lesser author may conjure.
