Ok, I’ve read 5 chapters now, and it just keeps getting more British. It’s distracting. Why do British authors insist on writing an American based story when they don’t understand the idiom. High street? Dock? It’s Main Street and Stand. Also, the mix of trousers and pants while underwear is also included; confusing. And, figure out the “S” and “Z” (not Zed) in the word “Realize”; it has been portrayed as both. Why make this a US story? Last I checked, the UK has universities, government agencies and pansexual people. I keep expecting fanny, minge and arse to pop up, tbh. I know I’m being picky, but it detracts from an otherwise engaging story.
