I've enjoyed the story, but Emrah is a Jonas. If the story holds it's pattern Bertha's crew won't last a month. I'm still hoping for a happy ending

Thank you for that long chapter! I am telling you between whatever that body modification did to her so many chapters ago and this ratty part of the galaxy, this gal is prone to hard times. (Pun not intended but I am leaving it!)

I skipped pretty much this entire unneeded pointless chapter. 10 chapters ago you could have had Ermah take the freighter with the freed slaves and start her own red moon or pirate band. Instead you have had her become a slave and get her freedom three more times while adding a drug addiction. There is a point where hardship no longer builds your characters it just makes them seem stupid and hopeless… I fear you have crossed that point.
