Damn good story! Hope there's gonna be a sequel.

Wow, what a well written start to another awesome series (hint, hint). About halfway through I started thinking I should take a break from reading, but couldn’t keep my mind from craving continuing to read, so here I am at 3 am happily finishing this awesome story.

Sir, you make me stay up too late. Love all your work here! But this one and the last fantasy are both top notch.

That was a great story for ANY site

I mean, thank you for posting it here, I really enjoyed it.

Very interesting tale. Enjoyed it. Five stars. If I have any criticisms though is you tend to overuse crying scenes as a shortcut to emotionally bond with your readers. I've noticed this in your Shepard series as well. I think you have the writing chops to do this without the shortcuts and it would feel more genuine. Also, feel like the friends needed more development and screen time. I look forward to the next one.

Great story! Glad this developed to become more in the future. Thank-you for your talent!

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 2 years ago

Thanks for the rape and torture warning at the start, my depression is worse and I feel sick to my stomach, my doctor is gonna be mad, so thanks for that Redstone.

A little warning at the start would’ve sufficed.

Another captivating read. Bravo.

Eagerly awaiting whatever comes next, whether it be an engineer, a satyr, an HVAC technician, or just a guy trying to stay anonymous.

gunmakergunmakeralmost 2 years ago

Well, I'm quite satisfied with this story. Like the characters in it, it just seemed to keep growing out of control. Good ending. My one question is did you have the story in mind the whole time or did it build on itself. Thanks.

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 2 years ago

Extremely well-written; 5-stars is not enough.

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 2 years ago

Seriously, these just keep getting better and better. I like that you actually take the time to develop the characters emotionally. I also appreciate that the scenes of *ahem* "intimacy" are not the focus of the entire story. (Though those moments are excellent as well! Tasteful erotica one might say!) This story unfolds almost like a real sci-fi drama. I would totally watch a show based off of this fascinating story! I also like that you make your MC into a grounded character, not an invincible, Gary-Stu-style badass. I look forward to seeing how this tale evolves. I wonder if we will see a crossover with your other supernatural story? Or are you keeping this universe separate for now? Either way, keep up your good work!

Daddy_LeninDaddy_Leninalmost 2 years ago

Banger story, Mr. Redstone.

Slwagner73Slwagner73almost 2 years ago

As stories go on an "erotic" site, I find myself getting so involved in the characters that I forget what site I am reading this one. Such a well developed story, and so engrossing, that I read it so fast.

I now find myself hoping for a continuation.

UncleGrahamUncleGrahamalmost 2 years ago

Utterly fantastic. But you have put enormous pressure on yourself to follow that with another episode, or any other story. I can't read anything else now - everything else tastes like toothpaste.

servant111servant111almost 2 years ago

Simply the best story I have encountered and I have gone through libraries of books during the past 60 years of daily reading. You transcend all measures of excellence with this novella. Only one problem…I am now utterly addicted to this tale. PLEASE continue this framework into not just one fully fleshed out novel, but a new Amazon kindle series!!! This will be an instant best selling classic!

Of course 5 stars!

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 2 years ago

Not sure what anonymous was talking about, the MC was definitely a Gary-Stu type character, not in yhe begin but then he's a werewolf and he grows taller and bigger (Like Ed and Ben, 2 more over powered characters), then he gets demon/darkness type powers, then an angel? Oh and he just inherited billions of dollars, yeahhhhh not overpowered at all.

I almost didn’t read this due to the title and description but WOW, what an amazing story! This is better than any Hollywood writing. You should pitch this as a Netflix series. Kinda reminded me of “Grimm” with the Portland setting. Wessen all around!

hermit3773hermit3773almost 2 years ago

I don't suppose you are a Naruto fan? Everyone is talking werewolf, but in my mind I can see Naruto talking with Kurama. The relationship builds over time, just like John and the wolf.

Comentarista82Comentarista82almost 2 years ago

Almost balked at the 23 pages, but it was worth it! I will love to see how the John/Sasha/Renee pack works out. Thing is...is Prescott really dead? He was the one that put the DOE on Kelly, so how did this happen and who did it? I'm sure you have a sequel in the works to explain this.

Exquisitely told. 5

I truly loved the story. Hopefully you plan on a sequel. I truly love your writing.

xhristianjxhristianjalmost 2 years ago

Just a question it's fine going for the conflict in your protagonists character, personality and overall physicality but didn't you seriously over do what a complete and total loser this guy is? I mean seriously he's not just antisocial he's a complete and total shut in as in totally closed off to EVERYTHING and ANYONE.

His antipathy to all outside connections is not in anyway endearing whatsoever and to be honest there are very few redeeming qualities to him as a person. If seeking a connection to a character is part of endearing the reader to a character then you absolutely failed.

jrphdojrphdoalmost 2 years ago

Great story, honestly one of the best. I would love to hear more from these characters.

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 2 years ago

Excellently written story. Kept me up late to finish it!

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 2 years ago

My only complaint with this wonderful story is that you have now added yet another universe of characters that I find myself anxiously waiting for the next chapter on. We already need the Ben Sheperd, Jack Danner, and Satyr Play series to get their continuations and now I need to know what happens next with John Doe!

.

You're killing me man....

PurplefizzPurplefizzalmost 2 years ago

Good story and an excellent launch pad for a new series of stories, I also understand the need to create something completely different rather than trying to think up new ideas for current character sets. From a readers perspective, I’d have liked more lead in info for our chief villain, rather than just writing him in for the last quarter of the story, plus the idea of four people in a head including “the Light” and “the Dark” is a bit bizarre, I’ll be really interested to see where you go with this, and see how and where the characters develop. Thanks for writing and posting, cheers Ppfzz

Geon54Geon54almost 2 years ago

Great story! Looking forward to more and half wondering if this could be taking place in the same "world" as Saytrs Play.

Also wondering if Daniel and Carol are working for Wolf, Ram and Hart Esqs (aka Wolfram and Hart, the lawfirm antagonist in TV's Angel). Both firms seem to share the ability to take clients with "special circumstances" in stride! lol

Also: Carol is surprised to see John from the yoga studio as her client but 5 minutes later states that she's already notified Anna that he's in the hospital again. This can be explained away, but its a bit messy and relies on Carol not making some straightforward connections (and/or a VERY short conversation with Anna)

CreativeEdgerCreativeEdgeralmost 2 years ago

MOST EXCELLENT! 5*, because there's no way to give it 10!

I loved it all, but I wish you'd been more explicit with some of the sex scenes, and had more of them. Sasha, for example, definitely needed a very thorough series of POUNDING fuckings, from behind of course! But I guess that isn't really your style and I can't complain about the final result.

bereznikbereznikalmost 2 years ago

I really enjoyed this story. Its definitely worth 5* and once I started reading I had to keep going to the end of this part of the story. There is still a lot that needs to be told, things like, who was his mother, who or what is still out in the world, how will his relationships develop with the other people/wolves/entities. I look forward to future adventures with John Doe.

It is odd,,, I began reading this story several times,,, and then I'd get to the werewolf schtick,, and stop. I finally had more time than sense,, and I have always liked BurntRedstone's writing,,, so,, the twist is not a big bad wolf,, a big good wolf. Actually, more to the point, a werewolf with a balance,, good and evil. For who among us all,, is not some blend of the two.

Excellent read! Storyline was well thought out with just enough information to keep you hooked. I little lacking in erotica for this site but that did not hurt the overall story whatsoever. If there is a second part to this story, (which there very well could) I will definitely read it as well. Again very well done for my tastes. Keep it up

Awesome story! Loved the story, even if the start was a little bit slow. Not complaining, just making an observation. Guess I'm just getting soft in my old age because there were lots of places in the story that got me kind of choked up. Wish we could have learned more about his mother. Well worth the time spent reading. Thanks

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 2 years ago

The part where he was trying to buy time til backup arrived before confronting Prescott and then he races down the stairs needs to be rewritten just to makes sense.. he should be dragging his feet down the stairs. Thus buying more time for his backup to arrive

5 am and I at least partially blame the brilliant author of the amazing story!

The single thing that bugged was that - as far as I understood it - John first shifted during his solo run. The shift with Sasha on the hike, was not the first as described?

But hey, it was such a great story I didn’t mind really.

SRWFSRWFalmost 2 years ago

another brilliant tale as always, I am really looking forward to part two and beyond with this wondefful tale you've woven....

JBluejayzzJBluejayzzalmost 2 years ago

This is the first of your stories that I've read, and I very much enjoyed the tale. 5 stars. I had no idea where this was headed, so at first I had trouble with what seemed like extraneous detail about John's job and coworkers, but you wove it into the story very nicely. I'm looking forward to more of this story.

One part I did have a problem with, though, was how tiring and difficult it was for him to ride the bike to the maniac's mansion. For someone who was an experienced biker, could run 55 miles in 5 1/2 hours, and run up a mountainside with Sasha to the amazement of other hikers, such a bike ride, even on a broken bike, should not have taxed him to the extent you described. It just seemed inconsistent with his bulked-up muscles and other physical attributes.

So, will we hear more from John Doe and his entourage?

I too support the longer format. It leads to more character development, and less sex scenes jammed in there just to have something in every submission.

Also I see the $$ for more Amazon 'books'. ;)

As always wonderful job. I see growth in your style as time progresses.

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

I'm a huge fan of the author but thought the story was one of his worst. The story is filled with plot and character development for unfinished plot threads and abandoned characters. It reads like the first half of a story but is posted as if its a complete thing. Just as important to where a story ends up is how it gets there, and the majority of this stories run time is spent developing relationships with side characters who subsequently disappear from relevance in the story 1 page later (Sasha being the only real exception) or on incredibly awkward interactions between the MC and other characters because he's still coming to grips with another unknown power. Again, I'm a huge fan of most of the author's previous works but really think this one missed the mark.

Absolutely impressive Masterpiece ........ The story line with all those tricky magic hidden stuff or the second entity , the wolfs, just fabulous ....... This was definitely a journey and got my full attention ....... In the end its the eternal hope the humans are thinking about, angel will fight for our missbehaving against the dark of our nature ....... But the light inner being, our own light inner being is able to fight this as well ....... And for your coma happenings, yes this turns a soul upside down and inside out, afterwards you feel like coming out of a wash machine with an extended program for extra white, thats terrible situation

Ten stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💖🍀🏆
