I blinked and looked in the car. "Tabby? You know Tabby??"

"Yeah. I'm a student in the University of Miami."

"Oh..." Now I saw his face! I couldn't recognize Amor because his hair was shorter and darker. Well, that and I saw him only a couple of times. I guess he was really busy doing his studies both here and abroad. "I talked to Miel the other day. Didn't she say you came from Manilla?"

"I told her." He spoke as the other colleagues decided to call it a night. "I didn't want her to know I stayed here to finish my studies early. I think I know what my calling is right now. Thanks to your gang, we can figure out how to turn the junk food into treasure. And also, how to moderate them thanks to Yasmine's example."

"I'm not Yasmine!" Shouted Yasmine. She was still in her horny zone...and apparently her cosplay zone. "I am Major Consuela Victoria Larrayna Legrand, the vampire conquistador from the heart of America!"

Amor and I looked at each other, knowing the T.V. show that character came from. "'Hellsing'."

I thanked Amor once again and started Ingrid's car. When I drove off, the doctor looked at my driving from his office window. He looked back at the picture of Rose on his desk. He pondered about what I said.

"Doc, I don't think she died naturally. Something else caused her death. There must be a reason she died right there on her table. Don't you think it was suspicious that she died so suddenly? You told me yourself. Everyone told me. She was as strong as an ox. So, something as simple as a gallbladder surgery couldn't cause her complications!"

Caliber's mind refocused on Rose. He stood and walked to his file cabinet. "Kendra, you're right. Her medical charts are worth a second look." He took out a small folder with Stein's name on it. Her file was small, not many papers in there. That was how healthy she was. She didn't even caught the sniffles!

He sat down and looked through her records. When he saw her autopsy, he sighed and started to read. He mumbled the statistics as he scrolled the record with his finger. One of the doctors had to do the autopsy for him since Spencer knew Rose too well. And he was right to let another doctor do it. Seeing her record made his eyes misty.

He almost started to lose when something caught his eye. He looked right at the scribble at the side of the notes. This doctor must have been in a hurry when he wrote this. But this was out of the original record, this was still fresh.

"Now this is strange." Caliber stroked his scalp reading the scribble. He switched his smartphone on and dialed to the morgue. "Yes, Doc Saxon? This is Caliber."

"Caliber? How rare to hear from you."

"I know but listen. I looked through a file recently and something caught my attention. It's from one of my former patients, Rose Stine. Did you discover something at the last minute?"

The other line was silent. "Last minute? Why?"

"There was a scribble at the side of your record. And it was freshly recorded in this file I'm seeing."

"I see!" There was a pause again. "Well, Doctor, I might have scribbled something for the other patient. There was another Stein that time. Robert Stein. Now he was one tough cookie to crack!"

"Well, I do believe I need to crack this tough cookie. I want to exhume her body and I'll do the examination myself."

"Wait! You can't! The Stein family will refuse to give you the right!"

Caliber thought otherwise. The next few days, he would call the family. Both Claudine and Donald were astonished about their mother's possible cause of death. If someone did murder their mother, they needed to know what caused her death. So, with the Stein family's blessing, Caliber re-examined her. What he discovered shocked him.

"Kendra was right! Rose didn't die naturally. Someone killed her!"
