Zena did not get "a vacation". She basically got banished, which for a werewolf is a fate worse than death. Werewolves are pack "animals", which means they do not (usually) do well by themselves. I hope she finds her mate and changes her way like Lavinia did.

I'm glad Zena got her ass beat. Alphonso should have someone to keep an eye on crazy Zena.

She will be back, but I know you have something spectacular planned for her. I'm glad Tasha fought back. She had too.

The beginning of the series was better. I couldn't even get through the 1st page of this due to poor sentence construct and grammatical errors. The errors were mainly past, present and/or future tense. The sentence construct impeded the flow of the story causing it to read like an instruction manual, thereby instilling in me no feelings whatsoever for the characters or their conflicts. Sorry
