I don't want to take "mattenw's" side, because i don't think he is completly correct. I have not been in that many houses with a maid or cleaning person (even my own on occasion), but in every case they do not enter a room that is occupied without being told/asked to. For her to come in on her own affects the overall 'reality' (such as it is). But i go along with everything else that happened once she was in the room. :-}
