The whole scene taking place before me swept me up and over the cresting edge of my own tidal wave. My body curled in towards my lover as I sprayed a torrent of semen within him.

Our bodies were fused together, tightly joined in the passionate coupling. I always loved mating with my partner and this was a beautiful moment I'd cherish. Another great memory made on our favorite piece of furniture.

I was able to pull Elgin up so that I could kiss his soft lips. He responded in such a needful manner, like each kiss was his source of life.

"Let's go upstairs. Wrap your legs around me, love." I whispered the words into his hair as he started to fade, spent to total exhaustion.

He held onto my neck but his legs refused to cooperate with his fatigued mind. Instead I held him under the knees and bridal carried him up the stairs to our room.

When I had him safely on our bed, I ran us a hot bubbly bath. With Elgin in my lap, I gently washed his body while kissing his neck and shoulders.

"I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't have this."

"I think we're probably in the minority, sadly. Most people never find this kind of love and don't experience this level of passion. This is rare, baby."

"I know, but that's kind of sad. Clearly we were meant to meet and be together but a lot of people wouldn't have taken the chance with the age difference and everything."

"I wonder how many people get that close and then pick the wrong path? I'm glad I figured out that I was going the wrong way and came back to you." I pulled him closer to me and held him tight.

"I always believed you would, but I still cried a lot until you did."

"Baby, I'm sorry I made you cry."

"You've more than made up for it, Al. Now you only make me cry with pleasure and happiness."

"Good. Your happiness is my life's work. I need to succeed when I have such lofty goals, as you know." I smiled into his damp skin.

"I promise to always make you just as happy in every way I can. You are my soul, Alvaro."

I finally stood up from the water and pulled him out onto the fluffy mat so I could dry us both with nice warm towels. I scooped him up and carried him back to the bed.

Under the covers we whispered words of love and devotion for a few more minutes until we both drifted into a peaceful sleep.

That summer, Ursula graduated from high school. Elgin and I went to Baltimore for a long weekend for the commencement ceremony and her graduation party.

I visited with Juana and watched as Elgin and Ursula sat together laughing amongst her friends. Juana was worried about sending her away to school and being alone, even though she didn't say that last part.

"She had to pick a school that was so far away."

"She got into a great school. UMass Amherst is only a little over two hours from Elgin and I. We'll make sure she's alright, you know that." I tried to reassure her.

"Yeah, but it's six hours away from me."

"She did apply to schools on the west coast so take your wins where you can. Besides, it's not like you're stuck in Baltimore. You moved here because of me and you stayed for her. But now it's just you."

"I should uproot my whole life because my family moved away?" She kind of snapped it out at me.

"I didn't say that. You have a house and a job, but you can get those things anywhere. That's all I'm saying. I know you haven't been dating and you're always taking care of Ursula, so you don't have many friends. Just think about it."

She let out a big breath and sagged in her seat. "I'm dealing with enough changes right now. But I'll see how I feel once she's actually gone. It's going to kill me, Alvaro." Tears welled up in her eyes.

I leaned towards her and pulled her into a big brother hug. "You'll be fine, Juana. And Ursula is going to take over the world. I'm so proud of her for picking the Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies program."

"I don't totally understand what she's studying, but she seems excited and so do you and Elgin, so I'm not complaining."

"When are you coming to visit us? You haven't seen the place yet and I'm starting to take it personally." I jabbed at her good naturedly.

"I can't use my child as an excuse any longer, can I?"

"Just fly up. We'll rent you a car or pick you up and you can use my car if you want it. Please come."

"I'll need to take a look at my schedule and my checking account...."

"No. No you don't. You have so much vacation time through work and you never use it. They give it to you to use, you know. You earned it. And I'm not letting you pay for anything, so just stop."

She gave me a stern look but I wasn't buying it.

"I know you're an independent woman, but that doesn't mean you need to isolate yourself from everyone to prove a point to no one. You need to stop being so fucking stubborn, sis."

I could tell I'd push enough buttons for one conversation so I let it go for now. Eventually it was time for us to head home. On the flight Elgin and I talked about his schooling.

"I only have one semester left. I can't believe I'm only one semester behind my original graduation date after the last two and half years of insanity." He seemed happy about his accomplishments.

"You've done great going to school online and working at the foundation. And you did it all while living with your fiancé and your mom with a whirlwind of changes surrounding you. It's seriously impressive."

"Yeah, I kind of feel like I can do anything I set my mind to. Being with you and the way you're always lifting me up and loving me, it's made all the difference.

When I was still living with my mom and step dad, with all that fighting and drinking, I used school to get away from it. But when it became about bettering myself for this new life I had, it changed how I felt about it. I want to succeed for you and for the foundation as much as for myself.

I'm really proud of myself. Thank you for everything, Al. I couldn't have gotten this far without your love. I love you." He smiled at me so sweetly after saying all those wonderful things to me.

"I love you, Elgin. I couldn't have gotten this far without your love either. You're my treasure."

Elgin leaned over and I met him halfway. His warm lips touched mine and I wished I could pull him into my seat and devour him. Instead we kissed for a long moment and then he sat back, glowing in his beautiful way.

"As soon as I graduate I want to plan the wedding."

His words nearly caught me off guard. We had tabled the wedding two years ago due to our crazy life. Between his school and us opening and running the foundation, it was just too much to take on.

I didn't mind waiting for Elgin. He was so fucking young, even now when he was twenty two. He was mine and he wore my ring. The vows were important to both of us, but not enough to rush into anything.

I'd go to the altar knowing that we could withstand anything. We'd put in the work for close to three years and we were as happy as ever. I wouldn't feel guilty for tying down a twenty year old with no life experiences.

Elgin was my dream man in every way and he was more than worth the wait. He was beautiful and intelligent. He was patient and mature. He was fun and made me feel younger. He loved my body and found me irresistible.

If I listed everything I wanted in a man, Elgin would still be better than that. I felt grateful to have him and I had faith in us. He was my destiny and I was his.

"Oh yeah, you're ready for that. I should start practicing whipping out the credit card. I want an extravagant wedding since this is the only one we get. Does that sound like too much?"

"You know I'd usually say yes, it's too much. But in this case, I kind of want the gay wedding of the decade. I have some ideas already." He smiled like it was Christmas morning.

"Now I can't wait. I have a few ideas, but I'll give you anything you want. You name it, I'll make it happen." I held his hand in mine and brought it to my lips to kiss his warm palm.

"Oh, I'm so excited! I just need to finish school and then I can get started." He made a high pitched sound of glee, his gorgeous eyes sparkling like gemstones.

That summer and into the fall the exterior of the garage and the house were finished and redone. Once the house was fully repaired, all the aging details refurbished and a new roof was put on, it was time to pick paint colors for the buildings.

"Do you want to keep it red?" Elgin asked as we stood in the circle drive and looked at the house and massive garage.

The body of the house was dark red with black shutters. The ornate trim and roof brackets were painted white, black and metallic gold. It was very gothic looking and I'd grown so used to it.

"I don't know what color we could paint it instead. Everything needs to be painted so now's the time to make changes." I kind of shook my head at a loss for ideas. I was so not gay in any artistic way.

"Do you trust me?" Elgin said it quietly.

"Of course. Do you have a color in mind?"

"I have more than a color in mind. I know the whole color scheme I want. But it's definitely not red, black and white." He bit his lip waiting for my reaction.

"Okay." I smiled at him.

"Okay? That's it? No veto power from the alpha?"

I grabbed him and pulled him against my chest, smiling down at him. "I'm only the alpha because you let me be. Paint it whatever colors you want. I'm sure it will be incredible. Go wild."

He squealed and pushed up on his toes to kiss me hard. I wrapped my arms around his waist and lifted him up, his feet dangling off the ground so I could keep kissing him.

A few days later the trim was being scraped and the door was being sanded, readying the house for it's new look. I wanted to ask, but I just let my love enjoy his project and I waited patiently.

Unfortunately, living in the house while it was being painted meant I could see the main color before it was done. There must have been a hundred gallons of paint just to do the bodies of the two large structures.

Soon the two story garage and the three story Victorian Italianate house were painted in the new main color. It was a warm, rich green with olive tones. It stood out against our dark green trees.

It was beautiful on it's own, but I couldn't wait to see what Elgin was going to pair it with. We went to Manchester for the weekend as the final colors were being painted.

Elgin was able to finish some paperwork in person at his school and we also went to the sex shop to buy some new things to enjoy together. We stayed in the nicest hotel in town and ate several incredible meals. It was a mini vacation date weekend that we needed badly.

We headed home Monday afternoon and Elgin called Rita from the car to make sure the painting was done. She told him that the fronts of both buildings were ready. They still had trim work to do on the back of the garage and one side of the house. She assured him that when we pulled in, it would look completely done.

Elgin was driving so he made me close my eyes as we turned onto the long and winding driveway up to the house. I gladly complied with his wishes, like always.

Once he parked the Discovery, he came around and helped me out of the car into the driveway.

"Open your eyes." He was standing next to me now, gripping my arm in his excitement.

I barely recognized the house that stood before me. The green color looked richer and more beautiful than before. The shudders were a dark plum color and the trim was white, plum and metallic gold in a nod to Gary's old color scheme.

The double front door was painted a vibrant fuchsia that went perfectly with the green and plum colors. It looked like a spread in a fancy magazine. With the garage built and painted to match, it looked like it had always been there. It was incredible.

"Wow. Baby, it's stunning." My mouth hung open slightly as I took it all in.

"It turned out better than even I imagined. I love it!" He bounced next to me.

Just then Kiara and Rita came out of the house to meet us in the driveway.

"What do you think?" Rita asked with a smile from ear to ear.

"It's perfect!" Elgin answered.

"What do you think, Kiara?" I asked my future mother-in-law her opinion.

"I thought it was going to look crazy, but I should trust my son. He seems to know what he's doing. It's really beautiful."

I couldn't help but think that her words about Elgin knowing what he was doing extended far beyond the paint colors. I just smiled to myself about that one.

In the next few months we finished the exteriors of both buildings and got them ready for winter. We moved the projects for the bees back to the third floor remodeling for the late fall and winter.

"I'm always glad when the house empties out for the night." I said it as I sat down on the couch next to Elgin to enjoy the pot roast Kiara had made for the whole crew's dinner.

"Me too. I can concentrate on my final projects for class and enjoy alone time with my daddy." He draped his legs over mine and settled against the arm of the couch, his own plate in hand.

"What do you think of the guy Rita hired to be her assistant?" I asked between bites.

"Darrell? He seems nice and like he knows what he's doing. Rita trusts his work, so he must be good, right?"

"Yeah. It's been Rita and the bees for so long, it's weird having a big, burly man in the house that isn't me."

"Rita needs him. She's dealing with her dad back in Concord and he's her priority."

"I know. I'm sure he'll be fine, it's just different."

"Are you feeling insecure, Al? I never thought I'd see the day." Elgin nudged my arm as he joked with me.

"He's got alpha energy. I'm not used to that, that's all." I acted like it didn't bother me.

"He might have the energy, but you're always going to be the king of the castle, Daddy. You've got nothing to worry about."

"I know. You're right. Mine's still bigger."

With that Elgin burst into laughter. He set his plate down on the coffee table so he could climb over to me and kiss my lips. "You're ridiculous, but I'm sure you're bigger." His grin finally melted my reservations.

Dinner all but forgotten, I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him down so I could cover him with my body and my kisses. We added another proverbial notch on that couch.

A few weeks later Elgin and I were in our office going over applications and a stack of bills when the doorbell rang. Elgin looked at me curiously. With all the activity in the house, people just usually came and went without knocking.

Elgin stood to go see who it was even though Kiara or the receptionist would answer it. I heard him stop in the hall as Kiara was headed to the office. I couldn't see them but I heard their conversation.

"Are those for me?" Elgin asked his mom.

"They're pink, I'm pretty sure they could only be for you." I smiled as I heard her describe the roses I'd had delivered.

"They're so pretty!"

"Why pink? Red roses are supposed to be the flower of love. But he always buys you pink roses."

"Pink is the color of our love. They mean more than red roses ever could. Thanks, Mom." I knew he had taken the bouquet and was heading back.

Sure enough he came around the corner a second later carrying the massive vase of light and dark pink roses. The smile on his face made it all worth it every time.

"What are these for? They're beautiful." He set them on his desk as he asked me.

"You got a perfect score on that final project in your most difficult class. I'm so proud of you." I stood and walked over to him.

"I love them. Thank you. I love you." I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him close.

"I love you, too. More than anything." I whispered the words into his soft hair.

He pulled back enough to look up at me. "I might have to tie you down tonight and have my way with you." His smile turned completely wicked.

"I'd be into that." I grinned back at him. I bent and kissed him before we both got back to work.

About a week later I went into town to pick up some paperwork from Melissa and run a few errands. I couldn't help but think about how close Elgin's graduation was and what I wanted to give him. I had too many ideas at the moment.

I could take him on a trip or buy him anything he wanted. I couldn't decide so my mind wandered through the options as I drove back up to the house.

I parked in the garage and headed inside. In the house I could hear hammering or something similar coming from the third floor. Rita was away this week, but Darrell was doing a great job leading the bees in her absence.

I stopped in the office, which was empty, before I went upstairs. I put away the things I bought, like deodorant and razors. The second floor was also empty. I figured Elgin was either in the kitchen with his mom or maybe upstairs, checking in on the project.

I went back downstairs and headed to the kitchen to grab a snack before I got back to work. Just outside the door to the kitchen, I froze in my tracks. I heard Elgin's voice and he was giggling. Standing stock still and out of sight, I listened to what was being said.

"Oh my god! That's so sweet." Elgin sounded really happy about something.

"Yeah. I'm glad you like it. Do you think it's big enough?" I heard a very deep voice answer him. It was Darrell and he sounded really happy too.

"I think it's perfect. The size is perfect." Elgin sounded like he was flirting. Goosebumps ran up along my arms and I felt my hands and feet go cold.

"I know it's not my house, but I really love being here. You make me feel so comfortable. I enjoy spending time with you." Darrell sounded like he was flirting back. My freezing hands clenched into fists.

Jealousy raged through my body and I could barely hear Elgin's reply over the blood rushing in my ears. I took a step closer and then another until I was standing in the hall, looking into the kitchen.

Elgin and Darrell stood face to face, each with a hip leaning on the counter. I could see Darrell's huge smile as he looked down at Elgin.

Darrell was a very large black man. I'd been slightly intimidated about having another big, strong male in my house but I'd gotten over it pretty quickly. But now he was flirting with my man in my home and I wanted to murder him.

When Elgin leaned towards him and whispered something I couldn't hear I snapped.

"What the fuck is this? You two look awfully comfortable." It came out louder than I'd intended, but I was beyond caring at that moment.

Darrell blanched and took a huge step back, away from Elgin. My fiancé had jumped at my loud words and now he looked at me with a very strange expression on his face.

Before either of them could say anything I decided to leave. If I stayed for one more second I'd kill that man for coming onto my mate, in my own house, where I was paying him to work.

I spun around and charged back down the hall. As I stormed through the foyer, the two office workers and Kiara, who was just coming through the front door, stopped and stared silently at my obvious anger.

"Al! Stop! What is wrong with you?" Elgin was coming into the foyer as I mounted the stairs. He was practically running to catch up to me.

"What's going on?" Kiara addressed her question to her son.

"Just stay out of this, Mom. Alvaro! Slow down!" He was yelling now but I was already nearing the second floor landing.

I didn't stop or slow down until I was in our bedroom. I fought the urge to punch a wall. I'd break my hand on these thick plaster walls. But I really wanted to destroy something.

Luckily Elgin arrived and slammed the door behind him as he charged up to me. "What is wrong with you?" He was probably as angry as I was.

"Me? I'm not the one flirting with a different man in OUR house!"

"Oh my god, you're an idiot. I wasn't flirting with Darrell."
