The alarm on his phone pulls him back to reality. Matt blinks several times as he places his hands on his face. He sighs heavily as he waits for Monique to arrive to the building. He checks his phone.
"It's almost 7. She'll be here soon," he says to himself.
Sounds of heels clacking on the pavement causes him to jerk his head as he searches. He sees her in his side view mirror. He gets out the car and walk towards her.
"Monique," he calls.
She looks in his direction and stops.
"Matt, what are you doing here so early?" she asks surprise.
He stands in front of her as he cups her face in his hands and kisses her with all the desire inside him.
"You been avoiding me. Why?"
She takes a step back and hugs herself.
"I thought this is what you wanted. A one night of passion," she answers.
He shakes his head no and stares into her dark brown eyes.
"I want more than one night with you. I want plenty of nights being in your arms pleasuring you. Give you everything your heart desires because you deserve it," he confesses.
She stares at him shock by his words. She unfolds her arms and squares her shoulders as she stares at him.
"You're a sweet guy and I enjoy our night together, but it can't be anything else between us," she tells him as she walks pass him.
He grabs her arm and turns her to face him.
"I'm going to prove myself to you, Monique. I can give you everything. You just watch and see," he tells her as he walks away.
He gets in his car, starts the engine and drives away. She stands shock by his statement. She smiles softly.
"Alright, Matt, let's see what you got," she states.
