The turning of a phrase..

I liked the first one and Ch 02 as well. Keep 'em coming! I do offer one critique. Be sure you are using the right word or phrase, and in context. There have been several examples so far that can be quite distracting as a reader. Specifically, at the end of the second paragraph (after the intro to Ch 02) the correct phrase is "fateful day" not "faithful day".
