i see a long series, and selena seems to have a little more than a wolf

I'm interested in seeing the continuation of this story. However, I do have to say that while I pity Selena and understand her, I don't like her at all. Right now I like Alexander a whole lot more, even though I don't know as much about him. I assume I'll come to like Selena over the course of the story.

Some questions (which I'm sure you're already planning to answer in upcoming chapters)- why did he kill her family? What is she? Clearly more than just a wolf. And if her wolf has claimed Alexander, why did she go right back to Drake?

I have some possible answers and look forward to seeing if I'm correct. Nice first chapter!
