As the last line of the chapter might suggest an ending to the story, I must say that it has been an enjoyable read. If it is not, I will look forward to further submissions. Thanks for sharing your tale.

Lamination? unless I'm completely off, you probably meant lumination.

Lamination ... a perfectly good word which any spell-checker will accept and pass over. As you say, probably meant to be lumination, or better, illumination - all valid words. Which is exactly why an author, no matter how able should NEVER use a spell-checker only and should have also at the least a proof-reader, if not an editor! Just a thought. One sees it so often.
