My love.
She looked at me slightly earnestly. "You know what, Posh?"
"What?"
"You know all those lovely stories you write for me? You should tell the story of Becky."
I swallowed, "You think so? I don't know that I could do it justice."
She smiled softly and gave me a gentle kiss, "I love your writing. You should. It would be brilliant. Put it on that site you visit. The one you've shown me."
"I'll think about it."
"Good. I think it will do you good. You need to fight your demons. Do it with love."
"My love is all for you. I love you Jodie."
She kissed me again and then whispered "I've loved you from the beginning."
I blinked, "I know."
I had intended to end the story here but have decided on advice from Mari, Vero and now Jodie that I should actually tell the tale of the following week since it is important and key to how happy we are now. If you are enjoying this, please give me a star rating and if possible leave a comment. I love my readers' comments. If you don't want to comment publicly, feel free to send feedback to me privately. Love and Hugs, Anna, xxxx
Thank you for telling the story of how "Posh and Sparrow" came to be. I was a bit surprised that it took you four years and an ultimatum from Sparrow to come to your senses. Jackie is a true friend and you are lucky she brought you to your senses. I agree with everything she said: that Allie was just using you, and you somehow felt obligated to keep letting her. I know well how complex these emotions are. It was definitely to Jodie's credit that she had the maturity and compassion to wait for you, but also the temerity to finally confront you. Like GaiusPetronius below, I would love to hear the story of Becky (if its not too painful), but not interested in hearing about Allie's rejection of your decision and tirade about how its all your fault, blah blah blah. The "Seducing Sheila" series was a much better sequel to "Five Years." You have a gift for luscious and sensual story telling; keep it up.
How strange! As I noted, I really wanted to know what happened with Becky. One would think that I would feel the same about Allie. Nope!
Like all your fans, Anna, I would love to hear about the pivotal week that followed Pt. 03, but if this is the end of story as you choose to tell it, then I trust your judgment.
5 stars all the way.
great story yet again. where is the next part? What happened to the leach and her hubby? I fully expected a public confrontation in the Valentines day restaurant.
Thank you for sharing your story. I love the way you allow the narrative to develop, paint the picture and share the details, uncomfortable though some things may have been to write. Looking forward to part 4, having read the other connected stories too
Such a beautiful story. I’ve enjoyed every sentence! The tenderness and love captured in this amazing writing stands out in such a romantic way. Thank you so much for writing and sharing this. I’m really looking forward to reading part 4 xxx
For everyone who finds their soulmate. When it happens you are blessed. Forty plus years she was my best friend, confidant, lover, and mother to my children. You don't ever let someone like that leave, you hold on with all your love, heart and soul. 'Cause you will more than likely never get another one.
It is my fervent desire, you and Jodie have a long and healthy life together.
This has always been one of my favourite stories. I live in hope that Anna will write more stories about her past life, but I'm not optimistic. If she prefers to focus on her future with Jodie, then that is only as it should be. May they enjoy lifelong happiness together.
