You certainly know how to build up excitement! And write believeable interesting characters. As a vixen, I am very happy with this story so far!

Such a great setup for the next chapter! On the tail of TangentFox' comment (no pun intended), being a dog fox, I am also loving this story. I am officially flushed out. The breathing metaphor is so very appropriate describing the self-awareness that Thomas is feeling. Reminds me of the Peanuts cartoon where Linus is horrified that he's 'aware of my tongue!' Google it.
