Great short story

You did a super job in this short one. Set the mood right, got some philosophy in there, and then a hot love scene built on a solid premise. Character development, too. Keep writing. A solid '5' stars.

"Should there be a boundary between friends and sex?"

Well, let's see. The question posits two separate states of being and asks if they should be blended. The answer is, of course, that they cannot be blended because they are two separate states of being. "Friends" implies "just friends": no sex. The common qualifier these days is "friends with benefits" so the question becomes "should friends always be friends with benefits?" The answer is no.
