Everyone's transphobic and pretty much psychopathic narcissist in this. It doesn't seem like anyone cares about anybody. Magnus doesn't care about Andrew, Flora doesn't care about him, just how he makes her feel, Jay doesn't even seem to care about anybody either. The gender identity stuff also doesn't feel real, especially with how willingly the new Andrea Still accepts the transphobic and homophobic language thrown her way. The idea that a sexist marriage is automatically a loveless marriage is also an issue as well. Probably the most unrealistic thing in the whole entire story series though, is that Andrew a Magnus are friends at all. There's all this talk of them being brothers but having completely different hobbies, completely different dispositions and seemingly not having anything in common except having known each other when they were younger. I have friends that I have known for a long time, and even if our interests are different, there's still lots of things that we enjoy doing together because if there weren't we wouldn't still be friends.
