"Oh, for Pete's sake, in LIFE!" she raked her fingers through her short sassy do in frustration. "He's wealthy, yes. Successful, again yes. He's an astute businessman with a high rating on the Fortune 500. He's sexy and if I'm not mistaken, under your spell witchypoo." She glanced over, gesturing with her glass, finding me sound asleep. "And you're way too wiped out right now to see what I see or face whatever bullshit is hidden in your past." She sighed, tucking the blankets around my shoulders before she shut out the light and went to sleep beside me.
