Not bad. Some decent pacing, I thought, but there needed to be more conflict. Everything fell into place so quickly that it all felt rather flat. Not bad, certainly, but too short to really get into the groove and understand the characters or what they were going through.

As a prologue or first chapter, it was nice. It's the kind of thing that makes you curious to know more, to see where things are going, how it all came about.
