The recent chapters have been coming so thick and fast that it's becoming difficult to find a suitable comment without repeating myself. Enough to say that as always, I found this chapter a delight. I still don't quite trust Mama, though, but then I can think of people I knew sixty years ago that I still wouldn't trust if they were elected Pope (sigh... so young, so cynical). I know there's more to come, Pixie, and my breath remains highly bated. I'm not normally the sort of person to make unreasonable demands but I'm close to demanding a happy ending for our lovely Pixie (and all those who have so nobly supported her).

It's all coming together ...

And before long we might say: they are all cumming together.

Pixie in bed with AK and Keith on their wedding night is still a bridge too far, but it is already openly being discussed, without anyone being offended.

Pixie, is this the first time you are with two lovers who are truly yours in the same episode? To me it feels that way. Well, they are not together with you at the same time, but I am sure AK gets wet knowing that you are with Emma.

Usually the idiom “when the other shoe drops” has negative connotations. Maybe not for Pixie as this time is so full of happiness. As you say there is more to come. Your writing flows effortlessly and includes so many delightful phrases like “… a and b lead on through an alphabet of erotic desires.” and no small number of quips like “… after all he is a man.” And I tend to agree when you point out that “… a wise man once said that no one ever did anything supremely stupid except under the impulse of strong principle.” Who was that wise man? Sounds like something Bertrand Russell might argue. Cannot leave without a comment on sex so intensely/beautifully described and character dependent. The latter is a rather stiff way of saying Pixie and AK are delightfully different from Emma and Pixie. Of course that should be true, but for some authors the description of sex, though highly erotic, is the same across characters not to mention scenes/events. Make sense?

...and don't it feel good! At least, it certainly seems as though all is right in her world. Her relationship with her mum and Gran has never been better (even if her mum isn't completely trustworthy yet), AK continues to be her rock, Issy is adorable as ever, finals at school went brilliantly, Lady F and Footy are amazing as always, and then there is Emma. Her grand return was joyous to say the least. Now hopefully Emma will stay with Pixie, and Pix will have her happily ever after. :)

I'm beginning to understand that Hols may be the great romance of Hoff's life, but Emma is the great love of Pixie's life. Emma and Pivie demonstrated the depth of their love when both of them selflessly sacrificed their immediate personal happiness to protect the other's academic and professional lives. It was more than serendipitous that the lover's separation provided the time and space for their personal growth on multiple levels. Emma knew exactly what she was doing when she abruptly separated from Pixie, even as that separation caused Emma untold suffering. That act was Emma going alone into the wilderness. While Pixie had ready and steady support from the house of love, Emma was mostly on her own save for Footy and her faith. The revelation of Emma's conscious self sacrifice for Pixie's sake was incredibly moving, and it resolved the questions surrounding her self imposed exile beautifully. Both Emma's and Pixie's actions to protect the other were done out of love AND sensibility; if they had acted out of anger and irrationality it probably would have cost them everything. Just like Pixie would have cost herself a meaningful relationship with her mother if she had not sensibly chosen to cease her pursuit of legal action against her for stealing her inheritance. All is right in the world (well almost all) after Pixie's graduation and her reunion with Emma. I'm hoping the next chapter cements their relationship even more. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
