You gotta lend me a hand here. This feels like mind control shit, but we don't ever get any confirmation. The main character becomes mindless halfway through the first page. This has to be supernatural, right? When we meet the priest, the dialogue is just unnecessarily repetitive. I get that you're trying to make him sound wise and eloquent, but it's very boring. I'm guessing he's either a cult leader or some kind of magical creature, and if not, he's very weird human being. I am interested to know if this is going to be some kind of mystery.
