"Easy girl," Gorlm said in a soothing tone to Gabby. Then, turning to other goblins, he continued, "I have a long night ahead. I need to reach the village before dawn to prepare for our trip to our God. You all get ready and start at dawn. I want you all at the village before dusk."
"Chief, are you sure your pony can traverse the forest at night?" one of the goblins questioned.
"Don't worry, my Strawberry is special!" Gorlm replied proudly.
Ari was taken aback by Gorlm's surprising gentleness with Gabby, but his announcement about returning to his village snapped her out of her reverie. She hurried over to Gorlm.
"You are leaving now? taking her away? It's middle of the night," she asked Gorlm incredulously. Her own voice sounded like a whining of a toddler and she hated herself for that.
"Little one," Gorlm responded in an indulgent tone, similar of how one might speak to a small child, "as I have explained before, she is my property, and I will do as I please with her. Now, step aside. We are in a hurry, and your concerns are of no consequence."
Although she had been used to this behavior, Gabby was indignant. It amazed her how she was being treated not only by Gorlm but also by Ari. Most of the comments that mattered were about her but none were directed at her. Instead, they talked among themselves, ignoring her in the conversation. Not that it mattered, with her tongue trapped by the bit, rendering her speechless. She could not have contributed anything intelligible to the conversation anyway.
Gorlm touched Gabby very lightly on the flanks with his spurs while pulling very slightly on her reins. She understood the subtle signal and obediently began to trot. As she moved past Ari, their eyes met. She tried to convey remorse through her gaze.
Ari did not have much choice. She stepped out of their way. As their silhouettes vanished into the darkness of the night, Ari knew she had to act quickly. She had to act fast. Without wasting time on an elaborate plan, she made a split-second decision and began running behind them.
Gorlm had noticed the other human female running after them. He smiled to himself in satisfaction.

The way I see it , with strawberry subdue and Ari under pony fruits influence , Lord Gorlm could have send slavers set up a trap ahead and capture Ari easily . As aroused as she is , Ari wouldn’t spot a thing . You did point out that he is much wiser that we think .
As for what Anj is up to , with Isabella , Ava and Jen corroborating , the legend of Gabby could easily take and peoples could stat a revolution over it . Sibar could very well target the four girls to put a stop to there revolution .
I think the plan all along was to become pony girls so they could get near the dilithum and bring it back to GC . Gabby would remember that free human female wouldn’t be allowed near those sacred Cristal’s .
I am hooked to your stories and universe and can’t wait for next chapter .

Anonymousabout 2 months agoI just discovered this story, and I literally lost some sleep to binge all the chapters!
I especially love the co-existence of so many attempted manipulations: Gabby wants to be ridden to the Goblin's God to find crystals, but she ends up liking her role as a pony a bit too much... while Gorlm clearly wants to make Ari a second pony for himself and/or his daughter... while Ari thinks she can outsmart him... and the list goes on!
In this last chapter, I was excited to find some new connections with the facts narrated by Gabby, such as Gibra mentioning her Dad's story about Gabby, and Anj starting a war to free all ponygirls.
I can't wait for the next chapter!! On one hand I am curious about the rest of Gabby's story – since she ran out of time and couldn't tell the rest of it to Ari – but on the other hand it will be exciting to see how Gabby and Ari execute their plan in the present time, now that Gorlm has been summoned by his God.
Also who is this Goblin God? Could it be a human from another planet, with powers similar or superior to Ari and Gabby?

FranziskaSissyabout 2 months agoExpect the unexpected and your horizon of perception will brighten ..... how can gabby surrender, fall, submit so completely - subspace? .... Just a quick question: anji , her luggage, her weapon? Did she just leave it behind in the tavern? ..... hopefully it won't come to a war, maybe gabby and anji can take out' the former GC agent and current Sibar king, prevent a war and thereby negotiate a deal with the goblins to free the 'human ponies' or they get paid for the work - that sounds cool .... Maybe then there's the possibility of male ponies 🤭
