Yes, Jack will find you must e careful what you wish for. He's likely to be walking the line or maybe weaving back and forth across it, from fantasy to nightmare. He's gotten himself into more than just a little late night fun.

Yes, this is only the beginning. However I still have a lot of decisions and planning to do before we go further. And as you know, I have other stories I need to work on. So while I like offering something new, I'm afraid it will be some time before we learn more about Jack's plight. But yes, this will be a much longer story; novella to novel length I imagine.
