Back at the office Ian pulled Jay aside asking "are you ok with what went on back there? I know how much talking about college brings things up."
"Yeah, it's all good." Jay replied.
Ian knew that was bullshit, but he wasn't going to push it. While most people look at college as the best time of their lives - their first taste of adulthood - it held a different feeling for the two friends. Ian was sensitive that Jay hadn't moved on from the drama, even if Jason Wyatt had.
Great going so far. I love the longer romance stories and especially like that you’re building a past for both Jay and the newcomer from Florida/Kentucky.
Solid start! Great descriptions of the characters, easy to picture them all. Hope we hear more from Mary. Can’t even speculate as to what killed Jason and birthed Jay and I can’t wait to find out. Five Stars and Following from me too!
Good writing. Good build up. Looking forward to reading more chapters soon.
A great start for a slow build up series.. I like the character development.
I'm looking forward to the next installment !!
