Very well done. I think Thomas held on all those years to give Maralyn a reason to continue. now that she has someone to spend her remaining life with, a new love, he could let go and be at peace. My grandparents had a similar conection. He held on until she was strong enough to go on alone with our help.

cannot express just how i am loving this storyline. You capture many feelings, and show great depth in your characters. Thomas' passing was a little shock right at the end there, but also it was 'heartwarming(?)' in a way, thinking he was giving Marilyn his blessing. xxx
