This could have been so much better if you would have written about 18 year olds and not have the people act like mentally deficient 12 year olds. There is no way that anyone 18 would be that uninformed about sex, especially after having sex ed in school. They acted like two kids just starting puberty. The thing that makes good story great is the ability for the reader to inject himself into the story. It can not be done here.

Great style of writing - and of exploration

I saw the other commentor saying 18 year olds are more experienced, but that's not true. As a college counselor I have met my share of 20+ year olds with very basic questions on sex, so this story is spot on.
